Just a guess - maybe there are some black hip hop fans who identify with the Republican party? Does that bother you, on some level?
YEah. Because as long as they have to set themselves apart, use code language, (and “hip-hop” is a code name here for negro), or try to “appeal” or “relate” to “the brothas” with that kind of language, they are NEVER going to be fully accepted. This seems like Michael Steele sort of Republicanism - show what a “n” he is for street cred, but he just ends up looking like a doofus.
