Thanks! :-)

Both:

McCain prevented her, *and* she refused to go heavily off-message, even when the crowds were chomping at the bit.

She has even caught flak since the campaign for having SarahPac contribute to (IIRC) McCain *and* Lindsay Grahamnesty -- I suspect it is professional courtesy and not incipient RINO-ism.

Cheers!

Lolol. Great stuff.

They must really fear Palin. They can’t stop ridiculing her. .

Yes they do. She is not a victim nor does she play one on TV. The entire liberal strategy is based on victimhood. She ignores it and it has them in fits.

If we’re talking about Steve Schmidt, wouldn’t it be “Et tu, Priapus?”

Et tu, Brute (Brutus = 2nd declension)
Et tu, Deus (”And you, O God”)
— Deus (2nd declension) is an exception that takes -us in the vocative.

4th declension nouns ending in -us in the nominative also take -us in the vocative.

You'll have to wait until my "learning Latin" section of my personal "to-do" list reaches the top of the pile. Shouldn't be more than 8-10 years from now (heavy sigh).

I appreciate the instruction, even though I haven't the foggiest clue what it means.

Incidentally, what about 4th declension candidates in the nomination? Where do they take us? (wink, nudge)

Cheers!
