Soles denies all claims of improper relationships with the young men.

Which, when translated from "politician" into English, means he almost certainly had some form of improper relationship with the young men.

It has been rumored for at least 25 years that Soles is gay and he has been involved in some pretty fishy stuff sexually and otherwise. There must be more going on here than we are seeing in the newspapers. Under NC law, I have every right to use deadly force to prevent someone from breaking into my house. My bet is that as this unfolds, we will see that Soles was up to more than defending his home.

The 74 year old Democrat could serve up to two years in prison if convicted.

He can share a cell with a former high-profile Democrat state speaker of the house, or wait and share his cell with a former Democrat governor. What to do....

The shooting is the latest in many confrontations between Soles and young men who used to be his former clients.

If this guy was a Pubbie, like, I don't know, Larry Craig maybe, the MSM would have had scores of "journalists" scouring the bushes for any hint of homosexual impropriety. For the last 20 years, every innuendo and suspicious liaison would have been thoroughly vetted.

Since the purported homosexual is named Studds, or Frank, or Soles, the whole sordid pederast and catamount affair is swept under the fish wrap and the hoi poloi are told that everything is ok, traditional, patriotic, and for the public good.

North Carolina Grass Roots pro gun group has been giving him ratings in the mid 60’s.

The NRA has been giving him “A”s and “B+”

This isn't news - The shooting happened August 23, 2009.
Soles, a democrat, was indicted in January, 2010 on a felony firearms charge of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury.

In February, 2010 he pled to a reduced charge of misdemeanor assault and walked away with only a $1,000 fine.
