C-Span's Brian Lamb Reminds: The "American People Pay for" All that Goes on in Washington - Audio

Here is audio of C-Span's Brian Lamb telling talk show host Bill Press yesterday, January 6, 2010, that his view is that, "The American people pay for all of this that goes on in this town." He was referring to Washington, D.C., and he was making the case for why President Obama and Congressional Democrats should open up the Health Care negotiation process and allow C-Span to televise the proceedings - something President Obama promised to do repeatedly during the 2008 campaign.

Brian Lamb is about as straight a human being as one can get...I think.

Brian Lamb and Matt Drudge are the only members of the media I trust. I sincerely believe that they do their respective jobs with diligence and integrity. Sadly, no other journalist or media organization has proven worthy of this same minimal standard.
