WASHINGTON (AP) - The Secret Service says another person not on the guest list was allowed into a White House state dinner for India's prime minister in November.

There were at least 2 plots among liberal entertainers to spike Richard Nixon's coffee with LSD (massive "overdose" to cripple him mentally). Grace Slick got into the White House (I don't think Nixon was around that day). John Lennon expressed a similar plan (and then bemoaned being a political victim).
Slick and Tricia Nixon, former President Richard Nixon's daughter, are alumnae of Finch College. Grace was invited to a tea party for the alumnae at the White House in 1969. She invited the political activist Abbie Hoffman to be her escort and planned to spike President Richard Nixon's tea with 600 micrograms of LSD. The plan was thwarted when they were prevented from entering after being recognized by White House security personnel, as Slick had been placed on an FBI blacklist.(I suspect that this account may be in error as clearly post 1968 riots it would be Abbie Hoffman who would be on a FBI blacklist; not to say that Grace Slick "wasn't" but an oversight to declare that she alone was "blacklisted" and when you MEAN harm then you DESERVEDLY make such a list).

This kind of pimply-faced juvenilia makes them “legendary” heroes among the destructive, hip-at-all-costs, loser left, of course.

At this rate, by 2012 as many people will be able to claim to have been at this Whitehouse dinner as currently claim to have been at the original Woodstock festival.
600 mikes for a +/-170 lb man is not a “massive” overdose of LSD. It is a very HIGH dose, and it would have seriously messed with his head for a day or so, but unless Mr. Nixon was already mentally ill that amount of LSD would almost certainly not have permanently crippled him mentally. I have to be honest with you, I sometimes wonder whether that guy was periodically dosing HIMSELF.
But, let me be perfectly clear, I am NOT advocating the drugging of presidents... well, not MOST of them at any rate.

This is the first reading I’ve seen from either case where a dosage was described. Both claim clear intent to hit him with a freakout that would do more than just compromise him for 8-12 hours. There are some acid casualties who still haven’t found their way back (several members of the 13th floor elevators, sly stone, sky saxon, brian wilson...)
