NidalHasan (Scribd Blog entry -- from the Jihadi psychiatrist)

NidalHasan scribbled: There was a grenade thrown amongs a group of American soldiers. One of the soldiers, feeling that it was to late for everyone to flee jumped on the grave with the intention of saving his comrades. Indeed he saved them. He inentionally took his life (suicide) for a noble cause i.e. saving the lives of his soldier. To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause. Scholars have paralled this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers. If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory. Their intention is not to die because of some despair. The same can be said for the Kamikazees in Japan. They died (via crashing their planes into ships) to kill the enemies for the homeland. You can call them crazy i you want but their act was not one of suicide that is despised by Islam. So the scholars main point is that "IT SEEMS AS THOUGH YOUR INTENTION IS THE MAIN ISSUE" and Allah (SWT) knows best.

The feds cleaned out his apartment and presumably confiscated his computer. Red flags went up months ago, yet they did nothing. Maybe they were trying to find out who his Islamofascist pals were, but they had plenty of time to do that, time enough to move in and stop him before he committed mass murder. (Happily Texas has the death penalty.)

There is nothing inherently immoral about the use of suicide bombers. If they attacked American soldiers, as in the example cited, they would be a legitimate weapon of war, just as the kamikazes were.

The vast majority of suicide bombers, however, intentionally blow up civilians, which the Koran and Muslim tradition says should be left as unmolested as possible during war. (Not that this recommendation has been consistently followed by Muslims, or anybody else fighting wars, for that matter.)

The moral problem with suicide bombers is their usual target, not the method they use to attack it.

(Happily Texas has the death penalty.)

Is suspect he will be tried in a military court martial. A state trial may follow that (if he hasn't been executed by then).

“Red flags went up months ago, yet they did nothing.”

Nor will they do anything now, except lie to us, and tell us this had nothing to do with terrorism.

EVERY muslim is a candidate for Sudden Jihad Syndrome.

He WANTS the death penalty, to complete his “martyrdome” and claim his 72 virgins.

Make him be a pig slop shoveler for life on a prison farm.

This will have devastating effects on so many levels. My prayers and thoughts go out to the families and friends of these brave soldiers.

When this took place, I was in DC with my son protesting against the health care bill which was frontpage news, at least until “Mr. i-want-my-72-virgins” stepped up and did this despicable act.

Makes me wonder if there isn’t something more sinister going on in the back ground to take the focus off of other things.

How noble. Not.

Most suicide bombers aren’t “sacrificing” themselves for their fellow muslim. Most do it for money, or to glorify their Father or husband, or to get special favors for someone else, or because they have been forced or coerced, usually by threats of killing their family members, or by the use of drugs...or simply out of hatred, hopelessness, and fear.

Sorry, mAJOR muzzy, your hypothesis just died, like you will, too, and soon, I hope.

This will certainly create trust issues between patriots and muzzies in the military.

As it should, but the impact on the mission could be serious.
