Posted on 10/12/2009 10:46:21 AM PDT by euram

Recently, I asked a GOP consultant, who must remain nameless here, this question: Who advises Sarah Palin? His answer: No one. Really? I asked. Yes, he said, really.

You'll notice that a Romney guy was laughing about Palin's book, "who wants a Rogue president?" and touting Mitten's book.

Amazon ratings: Romney book #156,333 in all books. Palin's book: #3 in all books, #1 in non-fiction

We have a rogue president. He is proud to be an Indonesian street youth who grew up NOT learning of the wonderful things about America or even growing up under the American system.

The ONLY positive things he has to say is “all of that’s changed now that I’m King”.

“a GOP consultant”

first translation: a consultant who isn’t working for Palin but wishes he/she was

second translation: a GOP consultant who hasn’t a PRAYER of working for Sarah Palin.

third translation: an unemployed consultant.

No one here a Free Republic expected an article written by David Corn about Sarah Palin to be anything but derogatory, right? David Corn is a leftist hack.

He has hammer and sickle emblems sewn into his pajamas.

For all we can guess, it’s likely that David Corn has a tattoo of Joseph Stalin on his chest.

No kidding, David Corn is/was a writer of The Nation.

I am guessing it would almost be impossible for her to find a GOP consultant that she agrees with. Most of them are in bed with the system which she is determined to try to overthrow.

As far as the rest of the article - its easy to condemn things - it doesn’t make you smarter - it just proves your outlook.

I don’t ask Adolf Eichmann where to put a Temple, I don’t ask Mikey Moore for diet advice, and I sure as hell don’t ask David Corn about Sarah Palin.

I think Dave ought to worry less about who the GOP is going to run in 2012 and more about who the Democrats are going to run.

“Palin’s persistent grassroots popularity chafes key Republican strategists (RINOs)”

“Catastrophic”: Steve Schmidt, John McCain’s presidential campaign manager last year.

“Political apocalypse”: John Weaver, McCain’s closest political adviser for years.

“Steve Schmidt correct about Sarah Palin”: Mike Murphy, a Republican media consultant.

David Corn is the Washington bureau chief for Mother Jones magazine. Prior to that he was the Washington editor of The Nation magazine for twenty years. He writes on a host of subjects, including politics, the White House, Congress, and the national security establishment. He has broken stories on George W. Bush, John McCain, Sarah Palin, George H.W. Bush, Newt Gingrich, Colin Powell, Rush Limbaugh, Enron, the Central Intelligence Agency, the CIA leak case, corruption in Iraq, the National Rifle Association, Senator David Vitter, the Pentagon, and assorted Washington players and institutions. He also has blogged for HuffingtonPost.com, CQPolitics.com, and the "Comment Is Free" site of The Guardian. For years he wrote the on-line column, "Capital Games" for TheNation.com.

Corn has written for The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Boston Globe, Newsday, Harper's, The New Republic, Mother Jones, The Washington Monthly, the LA Weekly, the Village Voice, The Independent, Elle, Slate, Salon, TomPaine.com, Alternet.org, and other publications and websites.

He is the co-author (with Michael Isikoff) of Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War (Crown, 2006), a New York Times bestseller. The New York Times called the book "fascinating reading" and the most "comprehensive account" of the Bush administration's misleading sales campaign for the war. The Washington Post hailed Hubris as a book of "shocking clarity" and compared it favorably to Barbara Tuchman's classic March of Folly. Tom Brokaw of NBC News said, "Hubris is a bold and provocative book that will quickly become an explosive part of the national debate on how we got involved in Iraq."

His book The Lies of George W. Bush: Mastering the Politics of Deception (Crown, 2003) was also a New York Times bestseller. The Washington Post called it "a serious case....[that] ought to be in voters' minds when they cast their ballots. A painstaking indictment."

>>> Who advises Sarah Palin? His answer: No one. Really?<<<

Possibly one of the best facts in favor of Sarah Palin as a candidate and a leader.

She's her own woman - as opposed to Obama, who has more handlers and advisors than the Queen of England.
