It’s looking like there is less and less need to ask if this is simply corruption on a grand and persistent scale, or an attempt at a radical coup: It is clearly both, the former, despite its appeal in it own right, also being used in the service of the latter.

Astounding to behold, and to see how it’s been there all along without sufficient media scrutiny.

Thanks to all of you who have done such yeoman’s work on this.

Well put.

re: media -— it’s now media complicity. They are looking more and more like enemy collaborators now.

And furthermore, this corruption has been known to Congress for a long, long time. Any moderate Dem or Repub that doesn’t speak up now is on the coup collaborator list, in my eyes. Their silence is not only a betrayal to the Constitution; its a betrayal to their constituency.
