She Only Commented on John Edwards Scandal Stories --At Least at DBKP
The headline in the NY Daily News said it all.
John Edwards' ex-mistress, Rielle Hunter, targeted by Elizabeth Edwards in blog comments
"A source close to Elizabeth Edwards says the former Senator's wife is sniping at former Edwards mistress Rielle Hunter via an online pseudonym."
The Daily News continues:
For months now, Elizabeth, who is said to be talking to a divorce lawyer, also has been sniping at Hunter - painting her as a blackmailing gold digger - in blog comments where she uses the pseudonym "Cherubim," according to a source who knows Elizabeth.Though "Cherubim" has recently described herself as an African-American woman, the source insists, "It's Elizabeth. She's used 'cherubim' as a password. Look at the gravestone of their son Wade: It's an angel holding a boy."
The piece finishes with, "Elizabeth's publicist and lawyers for John Edwards and Hunter declined comment."
This only confirms what some in the blogging community have suspected for quite some time. DBKP was tipped to the Cherubim/Elizabeth Edwards connection sometime in spring 2008 (if memory serves).
"Cherubim" has commented frequently on John Edwards stories originating at DBKP (including DBKP, DBKP@Blogger and Bloggers News Network).
In fact, on at least one occasion, it's remembered that another commenter referred to Cherubim in a later comment as "Elizabeth Edwards". Mickey Kaus notices that today in his post on the same subject.
Again, this time around a year ago, another reader asked us about the Cherubim/Elizabeth Edwards connection.
This time, the comments originated from a different location.

Did Elizabeth Edwards use the alias “Cherubim” to attack John Edwards’ mistress, Rielle Hunter, on blogs–including DBKP–over the last 20 months? The New York Daily Post says she did. We investigate.
I wish this story would go away...it’s a sad, humiliating story for everyone involved. It’s gone beyond newsworthy to voyeuristic. ENOUGH.
There would not be a mistress if there was not a philandering husband. How come the mistress gets all the scorn and the man who promised to love, honor and cherish her til death did them part gets a pass?
What’s amazing to me is that Hunter is the one to show the most public decorum in this whole mess. If Elizabeth really wants what is best for her children she would just shut up about this whole matter.
It is all very sad. Very sad. I do not know what it would be like to have a disease that could ultimately kill me and have this sort of marriage and exploitation of my illness being at its center. My prayers are for the children even the poor little child of John and Rielle. Personally I would divorce John and love the children like crazy. That’s just me. It is all hypothetical on this end though. Sickness. Pure sickness.
Take Edwards (John) to the cleaners and move on taking the high road. Unfortunately, I think John and Elizabeth deserve each other considering their personalities.
Exactly. Liz should re-direct her fire to that lying, cheating, philandering POS she married.
She could use her time far more productively by poisoning the Breck girl and feeding her to the worms in her backyard.

All this - including making sure she got pregnant was all about his money. Without that - what has Rielle Hunter got left to love about him?
Ofocurse it was. Any man who can't smell that coming a mile a way has just got to be stuck on stupid.
