Yom Kippur and Jews have much to repent about.
Right Condition ^ | 927/2009 | arkady

Today is the start of our most holiest holiday and an opportunity for us to repent our sins. This will not be a self flagellation, but rather advice to 78% of you. Same 78% of you who voted for Obama despite the most obvious and egregious radicalism displayed by any presidential candidate in our history. Today is the time you think about your position in America and where your loyalties lie. Nine months have passed and what was obvious to the 22% of us one year ago should be as clear as day by now. Liberals no longer represent us nor do they act in our best interest. In fact the entire Democrat party for which you have foolishly sworn allegiance to has been spitting in your face for decades. They do not care about our religion, do not care about our history, do not care about Israel and do not care about the rampant anti-Semitism due to "radical" Islam. Just like the Democrats no longer fight for the middle class, they no longer represent American Jewry and it's time you acknowledge what has become fact to so many of us.

Liberalism is just a political ideology, but to many of you it has replaced Judaism and is your new De facto religion . You are blinded by a belief and a movement that has the capacity to hurt so many regardless of how many examples are provided to the contrary. Government benevolence does not work, distribution does not work, regulation does not work, handouts do not work, price controls do not work and appeasement does not work. Ask yourself the following.

Come now. American Jews are not interested in their forefather’s religion, or the nation of Israel.

In fact, they are pretty much embarrassed by both and have replaced them both at the altar of Liberalism.

I guess I am not the only realizing that Liberalism has replaced everything...scary.

Today is a day of reflection and introspective thought. There is much to think about this year.

Start Yom Kippur with asking for forgiveness at putting the Obamination into power.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all.

We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...

We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...

and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." - Theodore Roosevelt

Are not the ones who need redemption those who bore
false witness to throw the election?

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++8 pts. days prior to September 18th, 2008.
So the RomneyTeam attacked Gov. Palin and her children to throw Election2008.

"Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 Early Show appearance."

David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."

David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician.
Let me say for the record: If Romney emerges as the Republican nominee, I will support him without qualm."

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House,
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide, now working for McCain-Palin.
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
He's in charge on November 5th.'"
The Prowler added: "Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Romney supporters in the McCain campaign had access to internal polling which indicated well in advance of the November 4 election that McCain had no chance to win.
So they began working to position their man Mitt for a run in 2012. Just two days after the election,The Palmetto Scoop reported:
"One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
These aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"Here’s what I think: I think there are some staffers on the McCain campaign who seriously screwed up the roll out of Sarah Palin, to which Governor Palin herself objected.
These staffers are now out trying to finish her off thinking, as typical D.C. types do, that if they don’t do it to her, she’ll do it to them. They just never understood who Palin is or what she is about."
"Likewise, I do think there are some staffers and others who expect Mitt Romney to run again in 2012,
they decided McCain could not win, and decided to undermine Sarah Palin and her chances hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign? (Mark Wallace, Romney pimp)
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Good assumption with this being the first sentence: Today is the start of our most holiest (sic) holiday and an opportunity for us to repent our sins.

>We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...

I disagree with that in that it used to be a sign of education to be knowledgeable in more than one language; on the other hand, for official purposes it is much desirable to have a single common [official] language: in this case it would be English.

I just assumed it because if a goy wrote it and posted it here they would be excoriated for it.

Old fashioned guys like me are often out of sync with most Jews. I like them and find them fun to be friends with but more often I don’t talk politics with them.

I have had intimate relationships with Jewish women but their folks were not overly crazy about me but frankly now that I am older I understand parents preferring to keep the gene pool similar.

Most I know fear Christian Conservatism more than anything but their momma.

And I like Israel for purely personal non religious reasons.

I do wish they appreciated my support of them more and didn’t so often work against the culture I wish for.

But what the hell. It is what it is and it’s been like this all my life except Magnus’s first election.

I never really realized this cultural divide was what it was as a boy but now I think about it a lot.

I think Obama and Axlerod and Rahm and so forth are a pivotal moment for Jews...Bibi knows that time it is.

A couple of points. Firstly, resisting assimilation makes perfect sense to me.
Christ must be the final Lord and not society and not Caesar.
Secondly, some pertinent entertainment.

I was never religious growing up as a Jewish kid in the Valley. I have my own beliefs with which I am comfortable. I feel more distant from Judaism than ever before since my congregation adopted liberalism and a nanny state, and subordinated tikkun olam (healing the world) as a government function.

These are a people who have lost themselves to a secular fundamentalism and have thrown their faith under the bus.

Jewish or otherwise.....we all have a lot to repent for. Even those of us standing firm in our beliefs. We allowed this by compromising in the past; letting things slide.....things we knew were wrong. Really talking to myself mostly.....I always thought that voting for what I knew was right would be enough. Giving to the right causes etc but now see, it wasn’t enough. If you’re going to talk the talk, you have to walk the walk.....I’ve done a poor job of that

ok i guess i am a goy (Catholic) but if i read your post correctly are you saying that the voting Jews fear Conservatism because they connect it to Christianity?..I have never heard or read anything like that...That would be like me fearing the Liberal Democrats because they welcome Protestants...

As one poster said—it’s the issues that count and that should be the factor that influences our voting..
