Iranian despot Ahmadinejad said it back in May but it is obvious that he still believes it. At a joint press conference with the Syrian President, Ahmadinejad boasted that “those who one day called Iran and Syria part of the axis of evil now want to develop relations with Iran and Syria. Circumstances are changing rapidly in our favor,we are on the road to victory."
At the very least he is on the road to making President Obama look foolish again. Obama made a proposal to start talks between Iran and the west. The proposal covered many issues but Iranian nukes were not on the agenda. At the same time an Iranian official hinted that the nuke issue could be added to the talks later on, so the United States agreed to the talks. Today Ahmadinejad dismissed any possibility of nuclear talks,
"From the Iranian nation's viewpoint, the nuclear case is closed," he told Britain's ambassador to Tehran, Simon Gass. "Having peaceful nuclear technology is Iran's lawful and definite right and Iranians will not negotiate with anyone over their undeniable rights."
Once again our president is on the wrong side of history, and another dictator has been able to make him look foolish:
not hard to make him look like a foolish amatuer when that is exactly what he is.

Exactly. Just what are obama’s qualifications for international politics? ... {crickets} ... Absolutely nothing in obama’s past has prepared him to be anything but a community organizer, mediocre Senator, and maybe a retail sales representative working on commission...
Obama will never learn that our Muslim enemies will give with one hand and take back with the other. Or maybe he knows it and just wants all of us (except him) to get killed.
He IS a foolish amateur. He will never grow beyond a white hating community organizer.
