Probably over a million people and I'll bet there were few if any arrests.

And not a Confederate flag in sight ... or a swastika.

unfortunately, there were two confederate flags that I saw. i couldn’t get to either and tell them to take it down, lest the media make it look like we were all carrying one. The fact that we haven’t seen a picture just goes to show that the media didn’t circulate amongst the crowd at all.

Any post-party pics of the mall?
I’d LOVE to compare it with the post-inauguration pics!

Thanks for posting. Great photos. It was a fabulous turnout...a fantastic exercise of one of our rights enshrined by our founders.
Unprecedented for the terrific Americans who make this country great.
WOW!

..if one of our math wizards here at FReeperville would do some research....get the outside dimensions of the tidal pool..allow a generous 3 feet per person...then a very generous just 5 deep....you would get an estimate of people just at that one location....a real conservative estimate.

Probably over a million people and I'll bet there were few if any arrests. If there had been even one, and that for littering, it would have been all over the MSM news last night.

Yes, I would be interested in seeing the post event pictures as well. I have read the area is nearly spotless.

Hmmmmm....I was there for the march to the Capitol, and it sure seemed like a million to me...HOWEVER, if that was the peak of the crowd shown in the above photo taken from the behind the stage...there’s no way 1 million people were there.
Not when you compare it to photos of previous 1 million-crowds.
But everyone was wonderful...friendly...cooperative.

On one t.v. report last night (FOX) the report was being filmed on the lawn after the event and I didn't see one piece of trash on the ground. Granted just a small sample, but I bet it was the same everywhere. I wish they would have commented on how clean it was and panned the camera.
