McCain’s problem is, and has always been, he wants to play on both sides. He doesn’t stand for ANYTHING. The only thing he cares about is John McCain.

I reached my limit with him in 2005 when he first jumped on the “torture” bandwagon and spent weeks peacock-preening in interviews and magazine covers.
I doubt the MSM really believed they could be so lucky as to get this clown the republican nomination so they could then take him down—but they spent the better part of a decade building him up and it worked like a charm.

On a more serious note I suspect that his breathtaking stupidity and irrationality is due to his treatment by the North Vietnamese.I think that the filthy scumbags succeeded in breaking him.....*COMPLETELY* breaking him...and that he's remained "broken" to this very day.
I certainly can't prove this but it's one of only two theories that I can come up with that would adequately explain the McLame of the last 20 years.The other being that he's always been nothing more than a filthy,worthless punk....a loser from the very start.
I had had too much of him after McCain/Feingold.
