The school says she can wear a brooch. Is there a no-necklace policy at the school? If it were my kid, she’d be back at school tomorrow with the chain removed and the cross pinned to her shirt. Let’s get the school to finally admit that its the cross that’s not welcome.

She added: A letter said that if she had been a Sikh she would be allowed to wear bangles.
(Bangles can hang from a bracelet or necklace.)
How about a cross embroidered to the uniform.
