Saturday night was outside about 11pm on my friend’s back porch. In mid July, I was FREEZING! I am not a cold blooded person, I am usually the first one with the windows open come spring to bring in some fresh air, but I was downright cold.
We all just sat there and said that all of us southerners could not ever remember being even chilly in July. It’s usually in mid 80’s for the LOW. I think we hit 60 something over the weekend.
And they are now saying we will have a wet winter so I guess we’ll get some freaky snow like we did in APRIL!
Wow, tonight’s low is in the 50’s!!
I did my part to warm up the climate. I cut down some of my trees. With a chain saw.
Sorry don’t click on teaser posts.
Where’s Al Gore?
I’m a Yankee and I am totally depressed over this cold summer. I am wearing heavy sox and a sweatshirt on July 21!!!!!!!!!!
I also have windows open ASAP and am a warm-blooded type. But I wait for the heat of summer and we have had perhaps one week, not contiguous, so far this year. We won’t even speak of the huge tomato plants, more foliage than I have ever seen, with green tomatoes on them. They are respectable size, but not even yellow, yet.
We were forecast for the high 60s today. It barely crawled over 60. Rain forecast, but went around us, a typical event in a semi-drought year. We do need rain. OTOH, I can water what needs it, but I cannot turn on the sun.
And in the mean time NOAA says the world wide temp went up. What a pile of crap.
WOOHOO! I’m loving it too!
