The Fashion Time Magazine ^ | Jul 13th, 2009 | The Fashion Time Magazine

Emma Watson started off her week wearing a Proenza Shouler dress at a London photocall. She kept her make-up to a minimum and completed her look with Giuseppe Zanotti platform gladiator sandals.

For the New York debut of the movie, Emma opted for the Proenza Schouler dress again. She daringly combined it with an edgy leather number.

For the Potter and Emma fans. She seems to be a very stylish young woman.

Hopefully she and her parents saved a lot of the money from the Potter series. She's pretty and nice, but doesn't seem to be the type to be a leading lady once the Potter series ends.

She has a wholesome fresh-scrubbed look.

Goody Gumdrops, so when does she do her first Maxim peek-a-boo cover shoot?

Agree somewhat, but she has a lot of the Reese Witherspoon vibe to her. I could see her doing some of the same type of Romantic Comedy roles Reese has.

Not to just be Mr. Contrary, but I disagree. Out of all the potter kids, I always thought that she brought realness to her character, whereas the others just sort of did an ok job. She’s not really allowed to steal the spotlight in these movies - at least not to the extent that the audience is riveted exclusively on her performance.

The next runner-up of all the kids, I think, might be Ron, one day. He seems like he could go the Simon Peg route. I don’t see a bright future for Harry though, no matter how many horses he rides naked.

Doesn’t look it, which is the creepy part.

She’s attractive, but I’ve got a daughter, and it just feels weird. I’m kinda glad of that, actually.

She is slated to do Cinderella by Marilyn manson. Don’t know if it is a movie, play, or video.

I wonder what she will end up looking like.

Of all the Potter kids, she is least like the book character who was homely, heavy and blind without her glasses.

Very nice, very fresh and very ladylike.

She looks appropriate for her age and very chic.

she wasn’t homely in the book, just an awkward 11 year old at the start with frizzy hair and oddly spaced teeth (fixed by her dentist parents). and she’s never described wearing glasses.
but watson is too pretty to play hermione, not that I’m going to complain though.

So she’s really a rip-off of Velma?

I don’t think Rowling ever said homely or heavy.

She did have bushy hair, was bossy and brilliant. Watson played her in the first movie, and played her well.

After that, Watson just did... whatever. But it isn’t Hermione anymore. And too nasal.

Huh?
She had frizzy hair and odd teeth.
Her Muggle parents were dentists and wanted to give her braces but she was put under a spell that made her teeth grow in Goblet of Fire, just before the Dance. Her teeth were fixed at that time. It was her Cinderella moment.

They never mentioned her being heavy. Harry is blind without his glasses.

Perhaps you are thinking of Moaning Mertle.

She needs to put on a couple of pounds. I hope she’s not anorexic.

Actually, her teeth were "fixed" by Madam Pomfery, after H. was hit by a curse that caused her teeth to grow uncontrollably. But yes, her parents were dentists.

Yes, I need to get a life.

it’s ok. i’ve read each book four or five times, gone to midnight release parties of said books, and wore my favorite gryffindor shirt to the movie last night.
