They Got Their Piece of the Pie. Now They Want Yours.

I realize how maddening it must be for you to watch our fellow citizens hypnotized by an over packaged, glorified street agitator with a used car salesman’s smarmy, phony self-deprecating “charm,” a braying jackass grin and a smooth TelePrompTer dependent spiel that bears no relationship to the truth, seemingly happy to hand over what they and their families have worked so hard for in the service of his vision of a socialist utopia.

Why don’t these people get it? Are they blind? Isn’t it blatantly obvious what Obama has in mind? Particularly infuriating is the fact that they haven’t exactly made it a secret. His writings, voting record, speeches and commitment to radical left wing ideology don’t leave a lot of room for doubt. It’s like wondering what that Holocaust museum shooter really thinks about Jews.

Recall this refreshingly honest statement from the First Klingon: "The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more." Michelle Obama, April 8, 2008

Keywords in the above phrase: “their pie,” as in yours, not hers.

No doubt Michelle Antoinette is grateful that she and her family don’t have to “sacrifice,” but then remember, she and Barack are just enjoying their well-deserved reparations, and of course, they do have good friends like imprisoned slumlord Tony Rezko to help them out when they want to buy a house, or other part of their pie that they can’t afford. Left unanswered: what if you, like me, don’t consider government-rationed health care something that you are going to “get,” which sounds like a present or a bonus, but rather something you’re going to be given, and given hard?

Just as many of us don’t think America needs to be “remade” by this arrogant, clueless, inexperienced empty suit, we think our health care system, albeit not perfect, is more than adequate most of the time. That inconvenient fact, of course, is one of the big hurdles in accomplishing the Community-Organizer-in-Chief’s dream: the federal government’s takeover of the health care system. Let me spell it out, in case any members of the Oprah audience have wandered over here.

A major part of the man-god’s vision is equalizing the material circumstances of his subjects, the little people like you and me. (He, Michelle Antoinette, party members and cronies in the ruling class will be exempt from this leveling, of course. Just remember the real message of their recent “date nights.”) In the case of employment, he envisions most of the grey mice working in government controlled industries, over which he and his minions will have the power of setting wages, benefits, and working conditions, as well as requiring contributions to democrat political campaigns through mandatory union membership.

In the case of health care, what must be done is for the underclass to receive a “piece of [your] pie” so that “fairness” can be achieved. Never mind that you’ve been a contributing member of society your entire life, and that the recipient of the government’s largess at your expense is a dope-smoking, unwashed, shopping cart pushing, foul-mouthed stinking derelict with an insatiable thirst for cheap booze and a 3-pack a day cigarette habit that he supports by panhandling. Never mind that the pie recipient is an illegal alien. Never mind that she is a “single mother” who never bothered to think about the negative consequences of illegitimacy for her unfortunate child or herself.

Like Michelle, Barack, Sonia Sotomayor and all other members of liberal mascot groups, he or she is a victim who deserves more than this “downright mean country” has given him, even if it means that you get less. In the service of this vision, He Who Walks on Water has no problem telling you more lies, the most important one being that OF COURSE you’ll be able to keep the health care coverage you have now and like. How could you possibly doubt him? Can you think of anyone more worthy of your trust? Have faith in me, he says, and by the way, hurry up. There’s no time for foot dragging for things like actually considering whether we want to “remake” the best health care system on the planet by actually debating the issue.

There are probably even a couple of cruel, hate-filled Republicans who might even insist on actually reading the bill before voting on it, just to deny children necessary medical care. As for Barack’s need to lie yet again, what’s another lie to one who is a stranger to the truth, especially when the end result is so glorious? And of course, the apparatchiks in the Lame Stream Media continue to propagandize for the Dear Reader, this time ABC. Courage. This nightmare will end.

There is nothing more judgmental than a progressive. When I have confronted a relative who always “knows what is right in my gut”, with this, they have just retorted, “of course I am!”, as though it is a good thing as long as it is railing against *the rich*.

For libs, the pie is a static amount of money that the nasty rich i.e. Republicans stole from the deserving needy. In their minds, the pie never expands. It's just a zero-sum game to them. But just try getting the various lib millionaires and billionaires, of which there are plenty, to give up their shares of the pie. Does anyone believe these people need multiple houses or fleets of cars, boats, etc.? Hey Babs Streisand, Oprah, Spielberg, Buffet, etal. give have of your accumulated wealth to the needy. You'll still have plenty left over.
