SarahPAC, Bipartisan Friendships, and Putting Alaska First

As many of you are aware, Jonathan Martin and Ben Smith of Politico have written an intriguing article on the bipartisan efforts of John Coale, the prominent Beltway attorney and Democratic donor and husband of Greta Van Susteren. Apparently Mr. Coale, with the best of intentions, had hoped to foster a friendship between the Palins and the Clintons -- both of whom he is personal friends with.

On its face, the story is nothing more than a man who wants to make mutual friends out of two couples that he is friends with separately. Throw into the mix the fact that these two couples are among the biggest political names in the country and it makes for an interesting article for the New York Times' "society page." Now add the fact that the two couples are from opposite ends of the political spectrum, and you have a really juicy article for Politico.

C4P have been doing a helluva job. Arguably the best pro-Palin site on the Internet.

Talk about an extremely bizarre story ..... does this stuff go on all the time in D.C.?

Is this how the inside-the-Beltway crowd slither up to new arrivals, to corrupt them with their "friendships"?

Also, is the "Sarah Weddington" poster the actual person named Sarah Weddington? Just wondering.

Coale apparently suggested that SarahPAC make a good faith donation of $5000 to help retire Hillary's debt. Sarah and SarahPAC politely declined

If Governor Palin had done that, SarahPAC would have been dead. I bet Hillary put Coale up to asking the governor for the money.

I like Greta a lot and think she's becoming a good legal advisor for the governor on certain things.

However, Greta's Rat husband Coale is striking me as an opportunist who is trying attach himself to Palin's coattails and set himself up as some sort of strategist or campaign manager with his own agenda, that apparently includes the Clintons.

I'm glad that Governor Palin has decided to keep him at Alaska's distance since I see no good coming out of his involvement with a National Palin campaign in 2012, ESPECIALLY with his scientology associations.

“Politico” full of Liberal hacks, has been trying to
by innuendo to smear Gov. Palin right along.

Yeah, of course I know that. But both Meg Stapleton and Coates himself admitted that he was trying to push the Palins into something they had no interest in doing, namely entering into an alliance with the Clintons. Actually, that sounds exactly like something Bill would cook up, and I think Coates was/is his messenger boy. Just MHO.
