For the past eight years, the White House recognized the National Day of Prayer with a service in the East Room, but this year, President Obama decided against holding a public ceremony. (see story)
Under the Bush administration, the White House hosted an interfaith service each year, inviting protestant, Catholic and Jewish leaders for an event at the East Room.

Frankly, I don't give a damn what Obammie the Commie does regarding prayer. I question anyone’s faith who sits in Rev. Wright's pew for 20 years. Just like I question anyone’s faith who participates in the KKK for 20 years. While I don't judge whether or not you are “right with God” and whether you will be in paradise after you die, I can certainly say, “You've completely misunderstood the basic message” or “You are corrupting the message to justify your world-view.”
The majority of citizens in this country are Christian.
If someone doesn't like that fact, too bad. Maybe they should go back to their country of birth, like Kenya.

He attended Easter services at the church across the street from the WH (St. John's?), albeit grudgingly. No, the man has no apparent faith. Perhaps he was asleep and heard nothing at all those Rev. Wright services?
Obummer is a Muslim pure and simple. He even said so in an interview when he let it slip out! Obummer hates the US, the Constitution, our freedom of religion and speech, our ability to own guns and the military, not necessarily in that order (but damn close though).
0bama prays to and worships himself. His idea of a “church service” is an hour in front of a mirror.
I cannot imagine going more than 2 weeks without worship and with all the responsibility he has probably want to worship 2 times a week and an hour a day in prayer.
If he’s a muslim then where’s his faith? Why aren’t his days broken up into prayer calls? I’m not denying he’s a muslim, but it’s not apparent, just like it’s not apparent that he’s christian, jewish, or any other recognizable faith. Religion seems to be a non-issue in his life.
So then that makes gim either a Muslim or an atheist?
For example, why have we not recognized in law the known fact that Islam is not merely a religion but a political movement radically opposed to human rights and especially to any democratic form of government?
0bama won’t go to any church because the message is not about him, it’s about the true God of creation.
Mozlems do not have a Creator God. They have no creation story. Ergo, they only exist in their own minds, not in the Creator’s.
