Clearly, given the nature of the request, not only in this suit, but various others, there is NOTHING FRIVOLOUS about this matter. Clearly, Obama is trying to intimidate this attorney. Not being a bandwagon person, I would say that even with a birth certificate proving Obama is foreign-born, he certainly had an American mother, and that is all it takes. Well, there is a further step of declaring nationality at the age of majority, but I seriously doubt that would be an issue because one doesn't have to declare immediately, as I recall.

My further question is that to receive a passport, one has to present a birth certificate or similar authenticating document. The certificate is checked against county-registered documents. I remember my mom and dad having issues getting passports because their documents didn't get recorded at the times of birth. So what is he trying to hide? I don't know, and maybe there is an issue with the birth certificate that would be embarrassing. I just doubt that it will be sufficient to yank him from office.

What really bothers me is that these constant stories of intimidation never make it outside the blogs. The lapdog press has no interest in reporting. Obama is a Chicago thug, but on NBCCBSABCMSNBCCNN, we just see a smiling, happy guy who loves us. I have faith that this image will erode over time.

It is well established that Obama did travel to Indonesia and Pakistan in 1981. In a tape of his speech at this April 6, 2008 San Francisco Fundraiser, Obama discloses his trip to Pakistan (40:17) when he was in college. On what passport did he travel?

A last arguement for baraks people might be that of course the Kenyans would have an interest in claiming that obama was a "son of the soil" both as a matter of pride and as a matter of bucks coming their way. However, if Obama was not born in Kenya -- then why wouldn't Obama release his original long form birth certificate. Instead of just releasing his long form birth certificate he has paid his lawyers 1 million dollars from campaign contributions since Sept 08 to squash the suits brought on the issue.
