Victory for the Second Amendment!

America, Liberty has won the day today! Our Civil Rights, as stated in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution have been upheld.

Today, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, and incorporated that decision onto the states through the 14th Amendment. In a victory for constitutionalists and Gun Rights advocates, Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain’s Opinion in the case Nordyke vs. King states in part the following:

don't be so sure that the 9th circus is doing us a favor.

possibly they are doing a preemptive strike against states rights and the 10th amendment.

It is great that they upheld what is ours...but, does it really matter if the government says we have the right or not? To me it is one of those rights that the government cannot legally deny us, like our right to life. Indeed, our right to bear arms is a derivative of our right to life.

The previous court upheld the assault weapons ban in California and would not hear the case stating that there was no individual right. Now they reversed themselves. So why has the NRA or others not sued the State again to reverse the so called ban on most semiautomatic rifles in California? The Federal Court ruling on itself would appear to make the State ASW ban null and void.

I believe it may be because the 14th Amendment was used to blanket cover the States. Certainly the 14th is cited in the Opinion.
