Obama gums up federal projects by undoing Bush environmental regulation(video) President Obama issued a presidential memorandum to restore mandatory review of projects to determine if they harmed endangered species. This change may slow down many of the planned infrastructure projects in the stimulus bill. This is another example of how catering to the political base is more important to Obama than ending the recession.

No problem. The reviews are just an opportunity for the “reviewers” to receive bribes to let these projects move forward. SOP Chicago politics.

This reckless arrogant POS is going to bring our economy into a complete collapse.

Maybe it’s not too late to move to some other country and start selling off body organs.... he’s going to want those too, at some point.

It might be a good time to recreate, Planet Of The Apes.

I work as a consultant on Environmental Impact Statements and believe me the Federal review for endangered/threatened species gets really bogged down. I would estimate that on the many projects that I have worked on the past 30 years, the time it takes from start to finish (just the EIS reviews) is 10 years. This means that the stimulus money for projects will need detailed environmental review. We’re looking at a 10 year time frame for any stimulus. Stupid idiots.
