A New Source of Cheap, Fuel-Free, Electric Power Will Help Revive the Economy!
Renewable Energy World ^ | March 3, 2009 | Mark Goldes

For the first time in human history, a worried world watches the economy spiral down all across the planet. Governments, including our own, are providing stimulus packages in a desperate attempt to stop the descent. But, what is missing is real optimism that these efforts will have the desired effect. However, a little known, never before commercialized, source of power - inherently inexpensive, abundant and renewable - may be able to awaken hope in the hearts of men and women everywhere. These terrible troubles are temporary. Healthy alternatives are on the horizon. With modest support, they can be greatly accelerated!

Werner Heisenberg, the Nobel Prize winning physicist, stated in 1927 that: “I believe it is possible to utilize magnetism as an energy source.” Perhaps, this statement reflected knowledge of the magnetic generator invented by Hans Coler which had been publicly demonstrated in Germany the previous year. By 1937, Coler had developed a powerful version of his device which was said to provide the electricity for his home and laboratory. In the closing years of WWII, the German Admiralty tried to utilize his invention to recharge submarine batteries without the need for a sub to surface.

Following the end of the War, Coler cooperated with British Intelligence, which published an initially classified Report in 1946. 34 pages of the Report were declassified in 1978 and are now on the web. Professor W.O. Schumann (who later discovered what is now known as the Schumann resonance) concluded, "After the present examination,...I must surmise that we have to face the exploitation of a new source of energy whose further developments can be of an immense importance.“ The source of this energy is what scientists today term the Zero Point Field or the Quantum Vacuum.

The late Dr. Robert Forward, then a physicist at Hughes Aircraft discussed, in a pioneering paper appearing in Physical Review B in 1984, how Zero Point Energy (ZPE) might become a source of electricity.

As to how much of this energy is available for human use, in an article about ZPE that appeared in the March 1st, 2004 issue of Aviation Week and Space Technology, Dr. Harold Puthoff said, if we employed ZPE to power the entire planet, “it would be like dipping a thimble into the sea.”

Several U.S. Patents have issued claiming ZPE might be converted and used as a source of energy. The most recent: QUANTUM VACUUM ENERGY EXTRACTION was issued to Bernard Haisch and Garret Moddel, May 27, 2008.

Everything from cell phones to homes and power plants can be powered by this safe, inexhaustible, fuel-free energy resource. Electric vehicles powered by ZPE will need no batteries or recharge. When parked, they will wirelessly be able to transmit up to 150 kW to the local utility. The sale of electricity may pay for the vehicles over a reasonable period of time. Cars so equipped will also be emergency power plants for homes and businesses. Mass production of such vehicles can happen within 5 years.

Most scientists and engineers will doubt this is possible. Their skepticism is understandable, until Independent Laboratory validation takes place. Demonstration Devices will follow. These are expected to include a new variation of the Coler generator. Then imagine toys - no batteries required.

Once cars, trucks and buses become available that need no fuel it is logical to expect automotive manufacturers will sell every such vehicle they make. Plants that have been shut down will reopen. Auto workers who have been laid off could have the opportunity to be rehired. Large numbers of new manufacturing jobs will be created.

A revolutionary product this far-reaching has the potential to provide huge numbers of new jobs and opportunities for new enterprise.

The next step will involve forward looking utilities. The economic impact of cars as power plants is likely to prove a surprising way to further stimulate the global economy.

These systems can also provide distributed generation of electricity wherever the grid is lacking or unreliable. Moreover, cars can wirelessly power homes and businesses. Imagine the many advantages, such as the aftermath of storms and other disasters.

Financing this breakthrough, which involves technology not yet widely understood or accepted, has never been easy. From 1985, when Magnetic Power Inc. began seeking solutions to the problem of imported fuel, until now, we have raised more than $9 million, and completed four Small Business Innovation Research contracts which added another $600,000. These totals include the Ultraconductor™ work of our subsidiary, Room Temperature Superconductors, Inc.

sounds like an ad from the back pages of Popular Science magazine.

As I recall the Dick Tracy comic series ran a story line for some weeks on this very subject. About 45 years ago I think.

Try moving into the next century and see how that worked out. - good grief.

Most scientists and engineers will doubt this is possible.

Add me to the list.

I recommend that you read Dr Forward's Sci fi Novel, "Dragon's Egg" It was hailed by Sir Arthur C Clarke, Freeman J Dyson and Frank Herbert. It is a story about a neutron star and the immense gravity and magnetic fields that shape the planet and it's lifeforms.

I still think that the penny sized wankel engine would be a near term electricla energy source.

Penny for your Watts!

where was the world wide optimism, or the hand wringing due to its lack, for the last 8 years? why should there be any difference now?

Sure, Heisenbery "believed" that it could be an energy source, but he wasn't certain of it! THAT was his downfall!

I still say we should sink a heat pipe into that caldera at Yellowstone and hook it up to a generator.

Most important sentence of the article.

Far too many people actual recognize this as a scam. And in today's world, that means you have a really lousy scam.
