One of the things liberals love to do when making shrills against conservatives is to claim that they are backed by big business corporate capitalist elitists. Conservatives they say are interested in advancing the agenda of the rich against the poor. Conservatives are champions of the rich while they crap all over the poor. They only want to protect the privileged and elite. They give tax cuts to the super rich by cutting programs and putting our nation in debt. Also according to liberals, by electing Barack Obama, we would undo this and require that the rich pay their share.
Well the first 100 days of Barack Obama has seen a massive doubling of our deficits and our national debt climb into the tens of trillions up to thirteen trillion. How did we get here? Barack Obama decided to follow one of the biggest con jobs ever done in history since the days of the Trojan horse and Giani Schichi. The premise is that by bailing out failing businesses, (Businesses I might add that are failing thanks to government regulation and restrictions as well as the outsourcing of jobs and in sourcing of illegal aliens who hate our guts and contribute nothing) We are making our economy better. Lets take trillions of dollars in federal bailouts and add 900 earmarks for pork spending. Lets reward failure, redistribute to the rich.
Perhaps the biggest outrage is that to pay for it, Barack has decided to plunder from programs for the poor including taking money out of social security to give to these rich CEOs who WILL NOT USE THEIR MONEY TO REPAIR THEIR BUSINESS. Instead they intend to line their pockets and outsource more of our jobs overseas. The big outrage comes in that the left has been silence for the most part during this debacle. Although a few groups like Answer have protested against the bailout of CEOS while American's face layoffs and eviction, the left by and large have been silent. Most of this silence is during the period of Obama's first 100 days.
The author is outraged because as you know. I and several associates have worked in human rights. Many of these poor victims are the victims of a scam involving SSI. They have had their assets and property confiscated from them by the government or by unscrupulous family members in the name of qualifying them for SSI pension and programs. The SSI pension pays poverty wages as compared to when they were working and the programs they are forced to enroll in DO NOT help them to be independent but force them to remain dependant. They have lost everything they have and now they are in danger of losing SSI thanks to the massive debt we have and the lack of funds due to the bailouts. Once that's gone they have nothing forever.
When George Bush betrayed the principles of the GOP to promote this bailout scam in his final days the left was outraged. But that outrage is gone now that Obama is promoting this ridiculous program. Taking money away from the working class and struggling small businesses to subsidise the million dollar wages of corporate fat cats while soaking us with taxes, evictions and layoffs. The left is silent and doing nothing. What a bunch of hypocrites!
What's worse is that the bailouts are failing terribly. Despite efforts to appease, Wall street continues to tumble and more jobs are eliminated. All we end up with is more debt while the Corporate criminals get away with murder. Instead of curtailing outsourcing and immigration, the root cause of all of our economic problems at this time and requiring these businesses to keep their jobs in America and hire Americans, instead of stimulating the economy here instead of over in China and elsewhere we are giving them our tax money with no strings attached. Ironically, the liberal media is saying nothing critical of the left. If any good is to come out of this, its that the spending and taxing will lead to the collapse of communism in America regardless whether or not Obama decides to plunder and cut programs such as Social Security.
Given the situation and that I just wrote an article about SSI and an elderly woman that got scammed this made my blood boil.
Socialism always travels hand in hand with a kleptocracy and a favored nomenklatura.
