If, as British cleric and aphorist Charles Caleb Colton has it, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery then what might resemblance perceived in the eye of the beholder be? With rare exceptions, in politics, sycophancy.
Barack Hussein Obama has been likened to all but seven of our past presidents including John Adams, William Henry Harrison, Abraham Lincoln and Woodrow Wilson - and has at least one thing in common with 25 of them including, Calvin Coolidge, Chester Arthur, Herbert Hoover and Richard Nixon. I see the resemblance to Jimmy Carter, but after that the comparisons start to fade.
He's the propagandists latest cretin creation.
Nope, wrong, he reminds me more of President Piggy down in Venezuela.
Some of the comparisons were so strained it was hilarious. Like the one about how he’s like Jefferson because he likes wine. You don’t know whether to bust a gut laughing or barf your guts out.
> Nope, wrong, he reminds me more of President Piggy down in Venezuela.
Nuh-uh. Idi Amin Dada, the late and lamented from Uganda.
Jefferson also introduced macaroni and cheese to the USA.
He’s such an empty suit. The only person he isn’t like, is Barack Obama. He can’t show us that face quite yet. We aren’t ready; we wouldn’t be able to withstand the horror.
Well, it just might get that bad. LOL
He reminds me of Papa Doc.
Wouldn’t it be a riot if the two of them were related, and if that’s the reason why he won’t release his Birth Certificate? Uganda is, after all, next door to Kenya...
Except he is known as “Barry Obama duhduh”.
The article states that he hasn’t anything in common with Millard Fillmore.
I disagree. He shoved the Compromise of 1850 through congress, providing unity of the nation only in the form of near-universal condemnation. This compromise, which was intended to unite Americans but ended up leaving everyone displeased, rightly has become the most important element of Millard Fillmore’s time in office. While he clearly attempted to do right in urging the bill’s passing, it left him with a truly marred and forgetable legacy in American History. While some credit this action for staving off the Civil War for at least a few years, in truth it was much like putting a band-aid on a broken arm.
I believe the same will be said about the so-called stimulus legislation. I wish he had much more in common with William Henry Harrison.
The sleaze of Clinton
The arrogance of LBJ
The incompetence of Carter
The honesty of Nixon
The socialism of FDR
LOL!
Very true. Obama has the honesty of Nixon, the competency of Carter, the incorruptibility of Grant, the economic instincts of FDR, the gracefulness of Ford, and the personal morality of Clinton. At least he doesn’t have the physical fitness of Taft....
And you didn't... see this coming?
The article says the author did not know of - could not find links to - anything comparing him to Fillmore and clearly based on all the research it wasn’t from lack of looking. Not that he doesn’t have anything in common with Obama. Slight difference, but more accurate than accusatory.
Actually, that’s the Bambu logo. Check out this:

There was a follow up showing the altered Bambu logo with the same photo you have (from The Druge Report, originally) but the link appears to be broken:

Do you have a different link to this photo? I can e-mail it along with a note that the photo isn’t there anymore.
Maybe Obama is that other guy who is white on the other side of his face ...
