(video of gushing love with article)
Not since Chris Mathews told us of the tingling sensation he gets up his leg when he hears Obama speak, has he shown off his Obama mancrush with such affection and enchantment as he did last night. If only he'd held back until this Saturday, Valentines Day, it would have been perfect.
During a special edition of Countdown, MSNBC's Chris Matthews poured his heart out to Barack. He said that he was "very impressed with [Obama's] amazing ability," and told us that his guy was "at his best intellectually." But, he really showed his affection with this comment: "What a mind he has, and I love his ability to do it on television. I love to think with him."
Making sure not to leave out anyone else in his circle of friends, he added, "I think our breed looked pretty good tonight. I think the press looked very good tonight. I think they asked great questions. I loved, I would be very impressed with the press tonight."
Love isn't just in the air, it's on the air.

Its worth noting Chris Mathews felt the same way about Jimmy Carter, folks.
See the pattern?
Barry has his very own step-n-fetchit.
“our breed “
What breed would that be?
(I look forward to the replies)
It’s a bromance!
Thank goodness Fox News, Drudge, Rush, Hannity and others are on the ball exposing this Marxist and his crappy stimulus.
wasn’t Chrissy in diapers during the time of Carter’s admin?
he’s always come off to me as still wet behind the ears for some reason.
Tip would be soooo proud!
No, he as a speech writer for Carter.
Wonder if 0 will be recieving any “secret admirer” gifts in the mail come Valentine’s day from our dear Chrissy. Possibly one half of a bff necklace, or a two person snuggie.
He’d probably like a three way with another man either
Olbermann or Maddow!
Chrissy...Dude....are you sure you want to say things like this in public? On TV? Oh, dude.....
I honestly find this amazing.
I can understand how many people, including those who are educated or skilled in communications, were drawn to Obama from his oratory and style.
But in last nights presser, we saw none of that. Instead we saw an uncomfortable man, stammering and reaching for the right words, framing his arguments and responses as he went along. In high school speech class it would be a “C” performance. In a college level debate, he would have been whacked.
Matthews is an oddball but he’s not alone in thinking Obama hit it out of the park oratorically last night. Those of us who liked President Bush knew all along this wasn’t his long suit, but we took the position that it didn’t matter. Obamas fawning fans are going to be really sad when they realize their guy is even worse.
MSLSD doesn’t even have the integrity to be ashamed at the thought of this moron being on the air. And, uh, how are those ratings doing, Screwball? I mean, you can’t rant about Bush anymore without sounding like a schizoid and your mancrush on Zero is embarrassing even to those of us who loathe you. Oh wait...the drones tune in for that, don’t they?
Unfortunately, American Idol is back so I imagine Screwball’s lost most of his audience.
A normal press conference would have reporters prepared on the pork bill and asking multiple questions along the lines of Major Garret but that didn’t happen.
Any other President would have had many questions on the details of the bill and how/why it would work.
It’s pathetic.
Cwissey gots a big case of man love.
I never watch MSNBC except for brief seconds as I use the remote flipping through stations to get to Fox News. But three weeks into Obambams presidency I was flipping through stations again to get to Fox and briefly saw Keith Olberman shouting with that hysterical female look in his face and he was throwing his crumpled balls at the camera and ex-President Bush! I thought to myself, Hey Keith, I know its news to you, but Bush is gone. Isnt there ONE THING that Obama has done in three weeks that would make you throw a crumpled ball at him?
;)
