To my Conservative Friends:
The war is on. The sides are defined. And who is right and who is wrong is as obvious as the nose on Leon Panetta's face!!! They might as well wear white and black uniforms its so obvious who is on the right side of Morality and Justice and who is on the evil side in this Gaza Conflict.
However, the loony-libs in this country are exposing their true feelings about their terrorist-coddling beliefs in ways that you will be shocked to see. The libs have decided that they don't care about perceptions anymore, they are coming out in full-force support of the terrorists, Hamas as they do what they do best - Take to the streets to protest Israel's "terrorism" and killing of innocent civilian Palestinians... Are you shi---- me or what???
Let me ask you a quick question - Why do the Jews overwhelmingly support liberals??? Hold that thought - We'll get back to it later...

Why do many Jews support liberals? My only answer is that there is a profound dearth of common sense that crosses all racial, ethnic and religious lines.

I have asked many of my Jewish friends and I never get a coherent answer as to why they do it...
Their number 1 issue is Israel, they are family-oriented social conservatives, they are pro-business...
I just don;t get it....
It goes back to what I have said in the past about the Republicans need new leadership to articulate that these groups that vote lock-step democratic really need to answer why...
And we have to display why it is in everyones self interest to vote Republican....
The sad fact of the matter is that the only reason any lib politicians support Israel and her right of self defense is politically calculated. Not for any reasons like its the right thing to do. It goes against everything they believe.
Imagine if there were not a large contingent of Jews who supported the Democratic party. Israel would probably not even get the support they have from that side of the aisle. Thats probably the reason they support the dumbocrats. They know the Republicans will do whats right. If they didn’t support dumbocrats, people like Obama would be throwing Israel under the bus. At best, its a 50/50 gamble whether he will anyways.
I find this so OBVIOUSLY illogical on their part. I have been debating with a gentleman who is Jewish on another forum for several years. He is decidedly pro-Israel but consistently supports liberals and their socialist agenda. Go figure....
It might make for interesting research by those in psychological or sociology fields. ;-/
(There HAS to be SOME reason for this.)
1) Jews are tribal oriented. So are libs. Cons oriented more to the individual.
2) Jews Do not have a fondness for Christians. Neither do the libs.
3) Libs create more social programs, thus requiring support, thus creating a gubmint $$$ chain. Even big business likes that.
5) Libs control the press.
The best answers I ever got was that American Jews see the amoral Goy Dem’s as a counter weight to evangelical Christianity which they fear would, based on their view of and treatment by history, might rise up to cause oppression against American Jewry. Many Nazi like groups in this country invoke the name of Christ in their invectives against the Jews and they see little difference between the mild Baptists down the street and David Duke.
So right wing conservatives who are also God loving and Israel supporting are at a real disadvantage as we are pre-judged. Individual Jewish folks may have great friends who are conservatives and Christian. But Christians will always be mistrusted as a group by them and they will act by voting to keep conservative Christians politically neutralized. It is not a conspiracy, just psychology at work!

I think there is some truth to this, but it certainly doesn’t explain all of it. I definitely think psychology is at work though in much of this.
The reason I think it “may” be valid is that 1) they are historically so, 2) G-d views them as so, and 3)even to this day, they demonstrate a great unity in defense of their culture - both locally and globally. It is quite impressive to me.
It is very frustrating. The secular “Jewish” mindset is an incoherent mass of contradictions, becasue it’s really a collection of prejudices brought over from eastern Europe by their immigrant grandparents at the beginning of the 20th century. You need to understand (though not condone) that most secular are not remotely observant and many could not tell you anything significant about their supposed religion.
They came over here because of being persecuted in Russia & Poland, so when Bolshevism triumphed in Russia, they all supported it (and still do) because the czar was their enemy, which to them made Lenin et al their friend(s). When (prior to the 1960s) they were kept out of universities and medical schools by a quota system against Jews, and were denied jobs for which they were eminently qualified, entry into hotels, resorts, country clubs, when they weren’t allowed to buy real estate in “restricted” areas of upscale Westchester and other NY/CT suburbs, they developed a loathing for what they perceived to be the WASP establishment. It all comes from this.

I think you might have a point here... It definatley makes sense because I am from a very WASP town and I know they hate the Jews and the Jews can’t stand them...
I could never figure out the root cause, but you may have enlightened me...

I don’t think “it” explains all of it, just a good sum of it. Family traditions play into it as well. I knew one Jewish lady who told me that her “father said that we never go wrong by voting Democrat, as they stand for the little guy and for social justice”!
