Christmas is almost upon us, and this is the time of the year when Hollywood typically offers up the best of what its produced. Then again...
I have a great idea - a BRAND NEW idea: A curmudgeon set in his ways discovers the True Meaning Of Christmas with the help of some lovable, if a bit mouthy, tykes. We can also make a version where Santa Claus shows up and gives the guy a gift he always wanted from his childhood.
I mean, no one has plumbed this territory! Now if I could only get the green light from a major studio...
I’ll get right on it! Sounds like a winner!
On shuriks.com (scroll down past shurik's picks to the first link) there is a list of 10 Best Christmas Films and most of the memorable ones are oldies. (Sorry, I forgot how to do links).
Any good Christmas films made over the past couple of years?
All those film I like have been done years ago. Have I missed some good ones in the past couple of years? Not many even in the past ten years.
