I’m becoming more and more convinced that they really are all in it together. The republicans, and Bush in particular last night, have the opening and they’re not taking advantage of it. Guess they don’t want to see their “good friends” in orange jump suits so they’ll say, “This is no time for partisan politics. We must all work together. It doesn’t matter who caused this. We have to save our nation.”

Why is he doing this now, when Obama has taken a decided lead? I am no longer just suspicious of Bill's motives. There is enough evidence now that shows he wants to help McCain instead of Obama. His own actions have damned him!

First of all, Obama has NOT taken a decided lead. There was only one poll that had Obama with a decided lead, all the other polls had the race a dead heat.
The one poll that showed Obama with a nine point lead was done entirely in the northeast, had way to many Democrats and also over weighted the Black population.
Clinton thinks that Obama is going to lose the election, and that he and Hillary are going to be back in control of the Democrat party. Actually, it looks as though Bill is going to make sure that Obama doesn’t win.
While it's fun to see him throw Obama under the bus, this is an out and out lie.
HE and Janet Reno were the problem.
He's trying to invent a legacy out of whole cloth. He doesn't want to be saddled with the blame for this mess, along with the 'Rats.

There is one other option people are not considering:
Bill Clinton actually understands how serious the situation is, and he understands not only how unprepared Obama is to be president, but that should he become president Obama’s policies would take the economy and drive it into the ground. Even Bill Clinton understands that another Great Depression would be a disaster for the contry (and that no Democrat would be elected president for 25 years if that happened on their watch.)
