Bill Clinton Lays Blame For Financial Crisis On Fellow Democrats
Stuck On Stupid ^ | Sept. 25, 2008 | Quaker

Bubba needs to lay blame somewhere. Why not the Democrats in Congress during his watch as President?

Is this further proof that Bill is campaigning for McCain-Palin?

Bill Clinton: (Democrats have been) “resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac”

Wow. I am shocked that the question was asked.

My opinion of bill is going up. It still has a tremendous way to go. But in this election, Bill is doing what is best for the country. He has helped keep two candidates that aren’t qualified out of the whitehouse.

William J. Clinton is one shrewd son-of-a gun. It would be best for a Republican to win, for the finances to fail, thus clearing the way for Mrs. Hillary in 2012.

Also, this is payback to the Dems.

Bill Clinton is behaving as McCain’s backup piece for when the senator is busy doing his job in Washington. So this gives me two thoughts, A. Bill trashes Obama and anyone else in the Democratic party so that Hillary is a shoe in in 20012 or B. He has reached the neurological stage of syphilis.

Fifteen minutes later he said he was all for loosening the guidelines because the officers and shareholders were making to much money.

My opinion of bill is going up.

Read closely. It seems to me that he is trying to set himself up as one of those who saw the crisis coming and tried to do something about it.

He's throwing his mates under the bus.

But in order for Hillary to get the nomination in 2012, they need to take out the far left coalition that forced Obama on the party. That means that they’re going to have to take out the Dem congress. Scorch the earth and take out the trash...

So? If he wants to get some undeserved credit, that’s fine with me if he’s throwing the people who are actually in power under the bus.

Hell, Clinton’s remarks here make him a better Republican than any of the feckless elected Republicans who are too scared of their own shadows to say this.

He obviously thinks their power will be restored once 0bama goes down, but, Clinton is at the heart of this crisis.

EVERY elected Republican and McCain should go out right now, screaming from the rooftops:

“We tried to work with Bill Clinton to avert this crisis and the Democrats wouldn’t let us!!!”

Bill opened the door. Who’s smart enough to walk through it?

An even better ad:

A milk carton from "Senate Dairy" with 0bama and Bidens's pictures on it.

Underneath: "Got Priorities?"

Thanks Bill. We'll take it any way we can get it.

Evidently Bill thinks that the way to salvage his legacy is to start telling the truth. Too bad he didn’t have this revelation years ago...
