Are the Media finally hitting Obama for the obvious fact that he's just another Chicago-style politician? If only other Media sources would at least admit it even if they still support him. No one is saying McCain is not a typical politician, but it is disingenuous to claim Obama is of a different sort. The New Hampshire Union Leader writes on this very topic:

... The (Obama) ad is so bad that even The New York Times called it "misleading." ... They're nothing but a bunch of racists over there at the NYT.

these are the kind of articles I copy and send to all my lib friends. A few have come into the light.
Thanks for posting this one.

I wish I could say I have been able to convince two of my Democrat friends who I had once believed were able to be objective. Unfortunately, no matter what I send them, they retaliate with articles from CNN or things found on Google, LOL. And they don't even understand how far left those entities are. They will read nothing that is against Obama, not even for the sake of seeing another viewpoint. It is very discouraging. It seems, once some people have been bitten by the Obama virus, they never get well. Unfortunately if BHO should (horrors) become POTUS, the medicine they will have to take for that virus will be very costly to them.

I dont debate them, just keep sending them articles which refute their stands. In time curiousity has gotten to a few and they read them. Again, I would say nothing and send them another. I try to send things from papers or places that they might read. Thats why articles like this one are helpful. Those that have come around started to read like that, then started asking questions. I often answer their questions with questions and tell them to look for the answers. That way they can believe what they read.

My suggestion would be to predict something outrageous that Obama is going to do, that your friends would agree (before Obama does it) would be outrageous. Then don't rub their noses in the fact that your prediction was right--just make another similar prediction.

"I wish I could say I have been able to convince two of my Democrat friends who I had once believed were able to be objective. "
I have two brothers in law that are that way. Why I did was clip out a short high impact quote and put it at the top.
I only send stuff that comes from sources they would see as OK. Even if it is an editorial, in the NYTs, or the WaPo, it plants a seed.
I asked my bothers in law - one at a time — “do you ever read the stuff I send you. Both said no (to which I said, “that's a good way to keep an opinion” — that hit hard.
But When I started the above, they read them to argue — BUT — since I was VERY selective on what I sent them, they are softened.
Recently, I casually said — “I knew you were a democrat — which is just fine — but I didn't know you supported Marxism”. That got both of their attention AND one is asking me for proof and reading it — with out arguing.
