British broadcaster Natasha Kaplinsky
The UK’s Daily Mail has a story on the very pregnant, multimillion dollar British broadcaster Natasha Kaplinsky, who’s strolling about London in what they describe as “killer red stilettos”.
Well, frankly we don’t find her choice of footwear all that stylishly appealing, and it may likely be a health risk. We worry about Ms. Kaplinsky stumbling about or falling in her clearly uncomfortable shoes, and hurting her unborn child.

If prego can’t wear stilettos, I guess lots of fat women can’t, either.
As far as safety, if she’s comfortable in it, it’s fine. But if she swells, I’d suggest flatter & fatter shoes.
Zot! Doesn’t she have a mirror? The shoes just look silly, but the rest of the outfit makes her look like a sausage in a skillet.
WTF...the nanny states going to dictate what kind of shoes one can or can’t wear while pregnant! Efffing idiots!
Anybody realize that women who wear these heels most of the time have difficulties wearing flats? Their achilles gets used to the “lift” and can’t always stretch in flats. Anyway, Ladies Choice prevails.

Agreed - and the worst of it is that she probably spent a fortune to look that bad.
I’ve worn heels when I’m pregnant, although no recently. Although it’s true that one’s balance changes, it’s not like you wake up overnight with a belly like a bowling ball: it’s gradual.
And this is newsworthy because......?
i wouldn’t wear heels like that NOT pregnant, but she could look decent in those, if she is comfortable, but not with the rest of the hideous ensemble.
It’s not that the heels don’t go with her bump, it’s that they don’t go with her thighs. Those are definitely skirt shoes for those who don’t have the thinnest of gams.
I actually remember reading once that it was beneficial for pregnant woman to wear a 1/2”-1” heel. Something to do with circulation....
WE have to counter with CZJ in the purple heels!
In my opinion, even the best looking woman in the world ought to be wearing stockings. Her knees look like she’s been scrubbing floors.

I was trying to find the BIG photo of her in purple heels. It was posted on FR a couple months ago. Couldn’t find it, so I had to go with what I posted instead. Better than nothing, I suppose. :-)
I like the acknowledgement of calling her unborn baby a chld instead of referring to it as a fetus!!
My knees, on the other hand, ARE really that bad.
Who the heck looks at knees????
