All this rage from the DUmmies is pretty funny since Obambi merely said that it may be time to consider offshore drilling. Imagine what would happen in DUmmieland if he actually endorsed increasing domestic oil exploration! His followers would kill him.

The oil companies will be happy to drill and destroy the environment. Tips to Obama for caving inWhat idiots. He's only saying these things to get elected, after the election he'll morf to his normal liberal self.

OK, now back to the important stuff, the roast duck. First, I would suggest you brine it. In a large stock pot, bring several gallons of water to a boil. Add one cup of salt and one cup of sugar. Add a lot of orange peels, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and other spices you like. Let that simmer for about 15 minutes to make sure all the salt and sugar is dissolved. Let it cool to room temperature. In a large container, put the duck in and pour the brine liquid over it until it is completely covered. Seal, put in your refrigerator, and let it sit overnight.
The next day, pull it out, rinse it very good and dry it off. Place the duck on a counter on top of several towels (breast side up) and place a small fan blowing across the duck. Let it sit for about a half hour like this (It is very important that the skin is dry so you get that crispness).
In a roasting pan, if you don't have a rack, make one by laying carrots down. Preheat your oven to only 300. For about 45 minutes roast at 300, breast side up. Then, turn the temp up to 450 and roast for a half hour, watching carefully. If the skin starts to turn too dark, go ahead and pull it out and let it sit.

Sung to the tune of “Plastic Jesus” from the movie Cool Hand Luke.
Im aint scared of no Osama,
Long as Ive got my own Obama,
Riding on the dashboard of my car.
He says he will save this nation,
All through proper tire inflation.
Add tune ups and I know hell take us far.
You sure need your own Obama,
Listen to his commie drama,
As he taxes all you make or save.
We dont need domestic drilling,
All you need is to be willing,
Give up liberty and be his slave.
Go and get your own Obama,
Hes wiser than the Dalai Lama,
Leading us, to new hope and change.
If you dont see his Marxist leaning,
Then your diaper must need cleaning.
As for me Ill vote for John McCain.

I hope he just playing election politics and will show real strength and leadership once elected...Oh, you can be sure this is just election politics, just as Clinton's tax cut was during his first run for the Presidency. But does going back on one's campaign promises display real strength and leadership? I propose, you decide.

I WANT to support Obama wholeheartedly. I f*cking cry when I look at all those people at his rallies. African Americans with REAL hope in their eyes. Kids. Latinas. Drag Queens. Old f*cks like me. F*ck, I'm crying now just thinking about it. I see Al Rodgers' diaries, and I'm f*cking sobbing at my desk. ( Jeebus. Just think of it. I'm going to vote for a Black Guy for President! You have no idea how surreal that is.It's the Whites who're racist because they won't vote for a Black for President. Of course, voting for a Black because he's Black can't be racism? Huh, could'a fooled me.
Oh, and I like the way he slipped in "Drag Queens" in the list. That tells me a lot about who's writing this...

While I cringe every time Barack starts talking about compromises, I can see the necessity for such a thing. I mean, the polls show that 70-some percent of people want this drilling BS to happen even though it's quite well known among experts that this won't help us for another 20 plus years. I'm so fed up with uninformed citizens thinking and voting in terms of their pocketbooks who are completely unable to look at the big picture and back long-term solutions.
The 'rats find more ways to blame the "uninformed voters". I've read many times a post from a 'rat saying how stupid working-class voters are for not "voting their pocketbook" when 'rats are angry because those working-class voters vote against candidates who are for gun control, for instance. But now when those same voters would vote on an issue that is deeply affecting their pocketbooks, the 'rats turn around and call them "uninformed" for not voting for "the big picture". These 'rats are the uninformed ones, the working-class voters are the ones with common sense.

What happened to 10 years?
I bet it can be done in under 5, provided that Barry isn't elected. Otherwise, it may take 6....

I’ve never understood the argument that we shouldn’t drill because it will take ten years for it to reach the pump. I doubt that stat but even if it’s true, isn’t that a reason to start drilling today? I don’t want to wait another twenty years to start the process back up.

BTW, I went to see “Swing Vote” last night (don’t tell Debbie Schussel).
Aside from the crass, and too over the top to believe, depiction of Karl Rove frightening Florida Jews in the beginning, my wife and I thought it pretty good.
The Bob Schrum character advising the Democratic candidate was very funny.
I give the film extra credit for irking the libs sitting in front of us. Especially during the Democratic candidate commercial scenes.
