If instead of 99.9 %, as D*ckhead stated, the real number is 1.9 %, does that make Savage basically right? Since he picked the MOST severest form of neurological disorder there is, could he possibly be guilty of the most severest type of demagoguery ? Or is he just a plain moron?

It's basically why I said he's almost right. I think 99% is a little high but there are many many kids who are being misdiagnosed. I think the term brat also was a bit harsh.

Once people discovered ADD drugs were killing their children or making them psychotic, the med/ed complex needed a new syndrome, physically undetectable and behaviorally diagnosed. In addition, the shifting definition keeps the “crisis” large enough to get a lot of taxpayer money. I’d disagree with Savage about who are the frauds here...I think it’s the doctors.

I think, the 'real' number of 1.9% is about as excessively low as the 'estimate' number of homosexuals in this country being excessively high. Our society is becoming predicated on the assumption that there is something wrong with almost anyone who claims there is a problem - a victim of something.

The people who abuse these illnesses and conditions are counting on people like you to feel sympathy and defend them just on the face of the name of the illness they claim. It has nothing to do with real autism.
