Little confused here. What document proves Senator Obama's "natural born" citizenship due to parentage? As far as I can tell, no official document has been made public proving Senator Obama's; time/date of birth, place of birth, or parents.
Not only is this proof a Constitutional requirement, but it should be easy for the Senator to provide. But as of now I do not believe he has done so.
I could easily have missed something. So again I ask: Has any official document been made publicly available proving Senator Obama's; parentage, place of birth, and date/time of birth?
There is a Constitutional requirement that he is a “natural born citizen,” but there is no requirement that he “prove it.”
If someone wanted to challenge his natural born status, that Plaintiff would have to bring civil suit in a federal court (you could try in a state court with aim of denying electors, but it would get bumped to the fed district right away) with a claim that he is not constitutionally qualified, seeking to have him removed from the ballot or office.
It would then be up to that Plaintiff to prove, by a preponderance of the evidence, that Obama was not a natural born citizen, and since USC, 8, 1401 defines any child of a US citizen (such parental US citizen having lived in the US at least 5 years in their lifetime) to be a natural born citizen, then the Plaintiff would have burden of proving that mother was never a US citizen and/or she never lived here more than 5 years in her life.
Like I said, this is a non-starter.
