Bumbling and corrupt NCIS agents have been on horrifyingly hilarious display in the Haditha hearings. It was clear to anyone watching LCpl Justin Sharratt's hearing that he should never have been charged in the first place.
The media (naturally) has ignore this facet of the hearings, but NCIS agents broke every rule of an unbiased investigation: exculpatory evidence was ignored and incriminating evidence was not tested. Democrats, usually so vocal about the rights of accused, do not care when the accused is an American serviceman.
In a previous dramatized installment, we brought you testimony of a real-life Inspector Clouseau, NCIS Special Agent Mark Platt.
We now present verbatim testimony from the lead investigator into the incident at Haditha, Special Agent Nadya Mannle (as portrayed by Hillary Duff as Lizzie McGuire). Special Agent Mannle's entire testimony must be read to be believed.
Our government reportedly spent $43 million on the Haditha investigation, so Ms. Mannle wasn't being frugal. NCIS chose not to record testimony so they could make promises to witnesses and falsify statements (as with the testimony of LCpl Prentice).
Folks, it's essential that patriots pay attention to what's going in at Camp Pendleton and for patriots to help defend our Marines.
Read Special Agent Mannle's entire testimony here.
This is unbelievable. Turda’s House of Cards just hit an earthquake. No recording devices? Come on.
Pray for W and Our Marines
I always say, “my bad” in a professional interview.
“My bad” is the new “whoopsie daisy”.
LOLOLOL!!!!!! Great job, Red.
“My bad”? That’s scary that she would even consider using this phrase in a hearing of such consequence.
All I can say is.....
UnFReepingBelievable!!!
We all knew the entire Haditha hoopla was a mess, but this takes the cake! This from a "LEAD" investigator?!?!?!
NONE of these Marines should have been charged in the first place.
The corruption of the Naval Service Investigative Criminals is staggering.
It’s interesting that Mattis apparently doesn’t care about any of this, or some of these prosecutors and “investigators” would already be behind bars.
(I guess the lure of that fourth star trumps everything....)
Freedom Bump!!!!!!!!!!!.........
If Mannle wasn’t so damn pathetic and this whole thing so serious I’d say that’s about the longest dumb blond joke I’ve ever heard. Do you know if Mannle is blond?
Hiya, Justa, good to “read” ya. :-)
Simply incredible.Anecdote:Years ago one of my roommates had cassette tapes made by his older brother while stationed in VN on a fire base. The quality wasn’t exactly stereophonic, but we could understand what he was saying-very clearly-even artillery booming in the background.I understand recorders were pretty common in VN.I’ll bet they’re still popular.(Fast forward 30+ years)How hard would it have been to ask a marine to borrow a recorder? This stinks to high heaven.Question:(i was never in the service)Is(was)this woman in the military? No uniform.I assumed all involved in investigation were military.I may have missed it,but i didn’t see her rank mentioned.
No rank, the NCIS is civilian.
What she didn’t say was that NCIS has a policy to not tape interviews. This has led to many charges that agents falsify testimony to help the prosecution.
In the LCpl Sharratt case, an agent changed witness testimony to read that Sharratt “made up a story” rather than “had a story”. Pretty ugly stuff.
Dumb blonde joke sums it up, jaz! My favorite part is when she explains how the tape recorder an agent was using was, like, not what she thought of when she thought about tape recorders. And that’s why she forgot about it.
As you say, it’s unreal that this is deadly serious.
Q: What is your occupation?
MS N: I'm a lead investigator.
Q: When you went to Iraq what were you told was your mission?
MS N: Actually, we thought we were just going for rice wrapped in grape leaves....a little carryout a little coffee and then we'd be back home.
Q: Is it your testimony that you didn't know you were going to Iraq to question witnesses, that you thought you were actually going for a little lunch break? <> MS N: Yes, sir.
Q: Is it possible that this understanding of your mission could be the reason you did not take a tape recorder?
MS N: Oh, absolutely sir. We would never do a professional investigation with witnesses without having the proper equipment.
Q: In your field, MS N, is it common to go over to Iraq for a light lunch?
MS N: It happens all the time, sir. A little photo op, a chance for a line in your record that says you were in a battle zone, a nice hazardous duty raise for that month. It's a career enhancer, sir.
Q: Do you have anything to tell the court, MS N?
MS N: Surely I do. If I'd had any idea that I was going to Iraq on anything other than a lunch break, I would have brought a lot of professional equipment.
Q: Would that have included a brain, MS N?
MS N: No, sir. That would be against NCIS policy.
Hi there jaz! Back at ya!!! ;*)
LOL! Would really be funny if it was not so close to the truth!
That’s classic. Unfortunately it’s probably very close to accurate. Especially the part about a brain not being used as an investigative tool by the NCIS.
“NCIS chose not to record testimony so they could make promises to witnesses and falsify statements (as with the testimony of LCpl Prentice). “
First time I’ve seen this — you DO realize that this guy has his compass all screwed up, and since Sharratt claims to have fired his pistol in a room in houses both north and south of Chestnut, I’m not making a whole lot of sense out of what this guy is saying.
He also says he took Terrazas out as one of the wounded.
Like - OMG! That place was grody to the max! I mean...Totally, gag me with a spoon! I thought we were going to the Galleria! Totalllly.....
