The battle that is being fought in this Country on the issue of illegal immigration is about to get much more complicated. We have heard in recent weeks the President of Mexico stepping up the rhetoric in defense of his citizen’s defiance of our borders; now his government has given Mexican Consulates in the United States the green light to ramp up their defense of illegal immigrants. . .
. . .This situation can only elevate tensions in the United States as the immigration issue has become one of the hottest in an already contentious political season. The people of this Country spoke loudly and strongly against the amnesty bill that was camouflaged as comprehensive immigration reform; the pressure they exerted on their elected officials led to the failure of the bill to pass. Earlier this week we saw the video of the establishment in Reno that was flying the Mexican flag ABOVE the American flag (a violation of our laws). The video also showed the veteran who cut the flag down in its defense.

Mexico to Bolster Immigrant Defense
The Mexican government is giving its consulates in the U.S. wide latitude to ramp up a campaign to toughen their defense of immigrants and plans to give them more resources as well, officials familiar with the strategy said.
The move comes as deportations reach an all-time high in the toughest crackdown in decades by the U.S. government and police authorities.
I would hope that those who used to think illegal immigration was a non-issue, could now recognize how destructive it can be.

One would hope, but elected officials see illegal immigrants as future voters so they bend over back wards pandering to them.
It seems as if most of our elected officials today would have been better suited to have been born during the Cold War, and have gone to work for the other side.
You know, we are in another cold war of sorts aren’t we.
Many of them, like Jimmy Carter, were working for the other side then and continue to do so.
If our government had a pair, they’d close down every Mexican consultate as subersive for interfering in US domestic matters and send the staff of every one of them out the door in 24 hours. Mexico is openly declaring itself an enemy of the US.
The more these clowns stick their noses in to our business the more anti-illegal converts we make.

You’ve got that right. Mexico would undoubtedly align with China in about ten minutes too. We’d be looking at an armed camp in Mexico within a year or two.
It is time to face up to Mexico and deal with it. We are a soverign nation and either we surrender to Mexico, or we put an end to this.
I agree, sadly there are no politicians with enough back bone to make a stand on the issue.

Sadly nothing will be done for the next year + as all the politicians are too busy playing both sides of the fence.

This is the tragic part. Mexico has declared war on our borders, and our President just ignores it. I never thought I would see us be invaded with criminals and massive drug dealing.....only to find our leaders looking the other way.
