Thanks for the post. A big fan of both shows even though I know there is marginal cooking involved. Also love to read Anthony Boudain’s reviews of them. Hilarious.

“You stupid donkey!” as Gordon tells the Dems.

Thank you. I trust you noticed in the post that there are links to every episode of both shows.

I have some big reservations about “Hell’s Kitchen”.

Heh.

Hell's Kitchen is funny entertainment, it's certainly not a cooking show. For that, I like Giada. YUM!

Yeah this season is really stilted. I hope Fox does a better job with Kitchen Nightmares.

No Reservations on the Travel Channel starts a new season at the end of the month. :)

Ahh Little Big Head (LBH) is certainly easy on the eyes.

Giada is one of the prettiest women on this planet.

And I’m a woman.

She cooks well, and seems relatively down to earth, as well. I hae snooty types, and she doesn’t come across as overly snooty for someone with her qualifications.

Not to mention her background and what must be substantial fortune. If you watch her biography on FN, she struck out on her own to prove herself.

I missed that, I’ll have to do some research.

Granddaughter if Dino, I saw. Very cool. Well accomplished on her own, too. Spago, etc. NICE!

And then there is Sandra Lee. Affectionately known as Barbie in our house. Who, it turns out, only attended a two week session at Le Cordon Bleu and could not be troubled to even show up for all of that.

Cocktails! LOL

I’ve been following “Who Will Be The next Food Network Star” and have a feeling Jag is going to win.

Rory’s smile and underlying smugness (Colombe-Light) wears thin quickly for someone who’s in way over her head.

Amy swings like a pendulum from flaky pie-crust to rock solid weekly.

Jack.

Great analysis.

I’m predicting Rory. Jag would surprise me, really. I find Amy just not someone I would watch in a cooking show. She seems a tad too boring.

I think the last year star, isn’t that the grey-haired guy? I really like his show.

I watched her biography and I’m just not so sure I believe the gilding on that lily.

Her grandfather made the bucks in film. The woman has an amazing beauty. Man....I’d be queen of this entire planet if I had what she had.

But hey, she’s good at what she does, she’s pretty, yeah, she’s not full of herself....I like her.

She wears those tops down low when she cooks I tell ya. If I cooked in some of her get ups I’d have burns in the oddest places.

But she looks good, go to hell. I might be a woman but I got eyeballs.

Jag will definitely not make it. Google up jag lied about background for the whole story. No Iraq duty, no culinary degree, and dishonorable discharge for fighting. This all exploded at the first of the month and they were still filming at that time.
