"Conservatives are in the way of this change, this quickening, and this redefinition of reality."

Yes, and for 6+ yrs. we have watched the President with the largest bully pulpit practice the "new tone" which means that with the exception of when he was running for office, virtual silence, regardless of how outrageous the charges, as though the charges were true. Is it any wonder that we have a sizeable chunk of citizens believing the nonesense that the Democrats and the press have hurled at him?

I have come to the belief after this amount of time, it is fine with the President and his party and they are willing to be the sacrificial lambs so that the country can arrive at the "new" reality. After all, it's only conservatives who are vested in the "old" reality.

Well stated and well reasoned point I can not argue against your conclusions. It’s sad...

Same song, 10,000th verse. Are you some how under the delusion that spending all your time sniping your OWN side in the back helps?

Hate to burst this Dinocon bubble that the Know Nothings keep screaming but there IS no “bully pulpit” when the Press is out and out propagandizing for the other side. Time you Dinosaurs get off your 1970s Political Science dogmas and try actually living in the real world.

President goes out an gives a speech every week. WHAT is the coverage. Maybe a couple hours of actually broadcasting the Presidents words then it either disappears off the Media OR they spend ALL their time going to his foes to have them respond to his words. OR they go out and have their tame “experts” on to spend all their time being hyper critical of the President.

There IS no Bully Pulpit. NOT even among the so called “Conservative” media who merely pick up what ever the “Drive By Media” is talking about and regurgitates it.

As long as we have a “News” media that doesn’t even pretend to be “objective” the President HAS no “bully pulpit.

So how about the rabid Know Nothing quit mindlessly regurgitating the stupid slogans from Democrat Campaign Contributors pretending to be “Conservative Talk Radio Host” and start living in the REAL world?

I do think that Saddam had WMDs, but had plenty of time to get rid of them before we went over there. So I don’t fault the President on that. I do support what we’ve done in Iraq. I am darned proud of what our troops have accomplished over there, and hope that the country will soon be able to operate on its own.

But I do fault the president on the pretense of providing “Homeland Security” while keeping our borders wide open during wartime. That is unheard of!
And I think he was prepared to be the fall guy for a great many accusations thrown at him after he took office. I also think he had a definite agenda in mind when he took office. He lied when he took the oath of office.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was indeed a fine, Christian man who put his country first, but my president has betrayed me. Like his father, he is a globalist, furthering the abolition of our precious sovereignty in his quest for One World Government. That has always been the goal of the CFR, and therefore the goal of every member of the CFR, of which he is one.

I will not be fooled again.
