That is probably the most damaging thing the hyper partisans in the Democrat Party have done to our future security. Good luck to any future President trying to build a political consensus for any military action.
But then the “peace at any price” crowd on the Left probably figures that is a “good” thing.

“We now live in a nation where we assume that no one is credible. Like Dr. Gregory House on the Fox TV show, House, MD Americans believes that everyone is lying to us unless of course they are of our own partisan persuasion.”
I’m convinced they are all lying, no matter the political persuasion.

(The Republican Party's continued idiocy, proves the TV Series, Lost In Space, was a documentary.)

Can we stop with the talk radio slogans and the mindless talking points? The “News Media” world that the Dincons thinks existed died in the 1990s with the advent of the 24/7/365 “News” cycle. We have even had people in the business SAY there is a reluctance to report good news because it might “help Bush”
Look at the story of 42 Iraqis rescued this weekend from an Al Qeda torture chamber? How long did that story get reported? About 2 hours. Then it was quickly forgotten. Conservatives need to get off their butts and start fighting back instead of spending all their time whining “why doesn’t Bush do this, Why doesn’t Bush do that”.
When did the party of Reagan become such a bunch of pathetic whiners?
