Oh, man -- Joe Biden is making big news today. In an interview with The New York Observer, Biden unloads on Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards, offering scathing criticism of all three and their plans for Iraq. Here's Biden on Edwards: "I don’t think John Edwards knows what the heck he is talking about." And here's Biden on Hillary's Iraq plan: "nothing but disaster." To our knowledge, this is the first time in Campaign 2008 that a Dem has directly engaged Clinton, and we have a feeling Clinton's rapid-response operation is going to be on overdrive today. Some excerpts of Biden's assault on the three Dems after the jump.
On Hillary's Iraq plan:
“From the part of Hillary’s proposal, the part that really baffles me is, ‘We’re going to teach the Iraqis a lesson.’ We’re not going to equip them? O.K. Cap our troops and withdraw support from the Iraqis? That’s a real good idea.”
The result of Mrs. Clinton’s position on Iraq, Mr. Biden says, would be “nothing but disaster.”...
On her electability:
“Everyone in the world knows her,” he said. “Her husband has used every single legitimate tool in his behalf to lock people in, shut people down. Legitimate. And she can’t break out of 30 percent for a choice for Democrats? Where do you want to be? Do you want to be in a place where 100 percent of the Democrats know you? They’ve looked at you for the last three years. And four out of 10 is the max you can get?”

Here I thought Biden was against the President's plan? He's unloading on Democrats opposed to the President's plan. I think a little clarification, on Biden's part, would probably be in order.
There is an anti-klinton faction in the senate. Kennedy, Kerry, Dodd, and now Biden. They want to destroy the Klintons.
Meredith Viera asked the same question about the resultant chaos if we pulled out of Iraq.

Perhaps, but this article will likely serve to push the left back towards Clinton,Edwards or Obama because Biden is not calling for immediate pullout.
I loved what he said about Edwards....LOL He basically called his plan: 'Fluffernutter'....ROTLOL!!
Frankly, the entire democrat party if fluffernutters..imho!

I guess it really doesn't matter, since I have and will not vote for a Democrat for as long as there is breath in my lungs. LOL
I used to refer to the leftists as wackadoodles, but I think fluffernutter is a better description.
Who did he plagiarize his speech from?
We should really get some kind of photoshoped pics of the dem contenders with a 'fluffernutter' type theme going....LOL
Fun to watch but I wouldn't give Biden too much credit. His picture is in Websters under definition of the word "blowhard".
