I'll make it short and sweet...
I just took the poll at the bottom of the latest posts page, and was absolutely shocked when I seen the results.
Close to 50% say they will continue to vote for the GOP if they do NOTHING about the illegal immigration/border security. Granted, it is early on, but what this tells me, a guy who swings a hammer for a living, is that our general consensus is to do nothing about this situation, but vote the same folks back in...as in "That a boy, you're doing good!!"
Why are you posting vanities?
And what does this have to do with defeating Democrats?
Do you want Nancy Pelosi Majority Leader?
Do you want Harry Reid Majority Leader?
Do you want John Conyers head of the Juciary Committee?
Do you want this country to do through an impeachment of the POTUS/CIC during a time if war?
However the repubs and even the RINOs act....... it's still better than the alternative universe.
Last time republicans got pissed we ended up with Clinton. Better make sure we don't end up with clinton's wife in the white house in 2008.
Do you want 11 million new Democrat voters that speak Spanglish? You're gonna get it if you don't take a stand soon.
I feel yer pain, but............. We're kinda cought between a rock and a hard spot. We probably won't have the choice to replace these rinos with someone who will be tough on immigration. The choice will be to keep the rino or vote in a dem, who will be much worse on this issue.
I'm sorry, but I'll hold my nose and still vote republican. I won't stay home or vote independent.
I guess that means majority aren't one issue voters
Do you want Harry Reid Majority Leader?
Do you want John Conyers head of the Juciary Committee?
Do you want this country to do through an impeachment of the POTUS/CIC during a time if war?
Yet all these things -- and much, much worse -- will happen once Bush and the Pubbies help get these 11 million illegals their amnesty and the vote.
What is the point for voting for the opposition?
Would you be happier if they decided to vote Dem?
Cool, personal attacks are ok again!
Considering the alternative's, voting for GOP was the best answer.
I personally, would find if very very difficult to vote for a Democrat. I never have. Come 2008, if the choices are McCain and Hillary though? Jeesh, that's a tough call, cuz I can't stand either and would not want either. Hopefully that won't be the case and we'll have a reputable Republican we can vote for and feel good about.
But this invasion we have on our hands doesn't seem to be getting taken care of by anyone, D or R. And even if D started saying they would, I wouldn't believe them.
All I know is somebody better start doing something, and quick!!!
Would you feel better if we all decided to vote Democrat??
The poll was pretty well meaningless...
No,
No,
(Breath...)
No...
I do not know how to do it!!! Get the message to these clowns, by not voting them back in! If it takes the impeachment, and the falling of the majority, so be it! What other way is there to tell the GOP that they had better start doing what folks want or they will not be re-elected.
I do not want what you asked of me. But is we are to send a message, what other possible way is there?? If we have to wait another two years for a shot at the majority again, if Bush is impeached, and the Dems do get in power, they will indeed screw the pooch once they're back in the majority, whit an impeached President, then maybe, maybe, the GOP will be ready to have the balls required to perform in 08 as a majority... How's that for a run on sentence??
So you're saying that if Kerry were president instead of Bush, or if the congress had been controlled by Democrats this past year, Roberts and Alito would be sitting on the Supreme Court? After all, there's no difference.
