Upon his return from a week in Mexico, a clearly irritated Rush Limbaugh lashed out Monday at liberal critics who accused him of seeking to make a profit from troops stationed in Iraq. He says the idea for his "adopt-a-soldier" Limbaugh subscription gift offer came from a listener.

While he was away, however, lefty detractors were quick to compare his program to Air America's recent (and failing) "associates" campaign....

Did the Lefties also mention the mucho dinero that El Rushbo gives to charities? No? Why who'd ever think they'd omit something like that?

I also had the impression that some "conservative" talk show hosts had something negative to say about the adopt a soldier program. He mentioned that some hosts on his "own stations" were critical of the concept.

Al Franken has a great gig. He rights a book "truth with jokes", and whenever someone points out another falsehood in the book, he claims that was another one of the "jokes", and says how stupid republicans are that they can't recognise the joke.

Clear Channel carries Springer in the morning. I am forced to listen to him for the few seconds between the time I turn on the radio and tune down the dial to Glenn Beck. Springer was yammering about Rush and adopt a soldier, but I can't add any more than that. Kudos to Rush for providing a voice of truth and reason for our troops.

Oh, I didn't know that. The first names that popped into my head was Michael Savage and O'Reilly. Both seem to have a major problem with Rush (Could they be jealous of his success? Hmmm...). Springer is such a sleazy, slimey creature I really feel sorry for you, LOL! Glenn Beck on the other hand is great!

How about a program where we send Al Franken's book to soldiers. You want to get their ire up before they go into battle. Those Al Qaeda terrorists won't know what hit them when a Marine who just had to read three pages of an Al Franken book is charging at them.
