"Veteran wire reporter Helen Thomas is vowing to 'kill herself' if Dick Cheney announces he is running for president. The newspaper HILL first reported the startling claim on Thursday. "The day Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself," she told the HILL. "All we need is one more liar." Thomas added, "I think he'd like to run, but it would be a sad day for the country if he does."

First of all, how many liberals have we heard were going to leave the country if President Bush won, and that was only the first election? How many have backed off giving us a true glimpse of progressive honesty at work? Now Thomas is wants to off herself if Cheney runs.

First of all, Cheney isn't going to run so her threat of martyrdom belongs in the toilet. And if honesty is such a big thing to Helen Thomas, she should have offed herself years ago during the Clinton Admnistration.

Helen, go take a nap.

Helen Thomas threatens to kill herself if she don't get her way. Typical liberal, she'll probably disappoint us by making promises she never intends to keep. Notice the arrogance or Thomas's part to think that anybody would care.

I don't know Helen Thomas except that she is supposed to be a famous Washington Press Corps reporter. I never read anything she wrote and I never saw her in public.

Still, I know that she is a lifelong supporter of the far left, a sort of Bella Abzug of the journalistic world.

Her threat to kill herself is incentive enough for Cheney to run.
