The radical "Christian" clerics in this country are no more representative of true Christianity than are the radical Muslim clerics representative of true Islam. The big difference is that few of the radical Christian clerics outwardly advocate violence. But they can more drastically change our way of life by political terrorism: holding candidates/elected/appointed officials hostage to their ideology by threatening to whithold their votes. If the great silent majority would just get off its collective ass and f******g VOTE, we could silence these ninnies once and for all.

They seem to have forgotten to mention the Earth Liberation Front as a terrorist organization. Or PETA.
And, last I checked, both of those groups were pretty far to the Left.

Yes, and you looked quite fetching in that German uniform! ;-)

Screw DU.
It is nothing more than a collection of ill-bred children and whining nihilists. Not even worth my time and effort except to get a good chuckle or to shake my head in disbelief, bemoaning how far some around us have sunk.

Sorry. You cannot expect consistency from a leftist. You cannot be a leftist if you have it. The internal contradictions would send you to the nut-house. No Wait!! It already did.

I am starting to object to the use of the term ideology as here. After nearly 15 years of triangulation, to say thqat the difference between R and D is ideology constitutes a gross exaggeration.

Imagine voting for a candidate and expecting them to do what they promised.....how dare the constituents hold them hostage! Oh my!

Bastards!
Damn that democracy anyway! How dare we vote for those who we believe represent us!

Off topic, btw, but a great quote:
"I have often been called a Nazi, and, although it is unfair, I don't let it bother me. I don't let it bother me for one simple reason. No one has ever had a fantasy about being tied to a bed and sexually ravished by someone dressed as a liberal."
