We deserve to know the source of the rumors re: Clement
I called the White House, both my Senators (Cantwell and Murray), Senator Reid's office, and Senator Leahy's office. I told them that as a citizen in a country with an open government, I have the right to know who floated those rumors.
I would encourage you all to do the same. We know that this is a typical bait and switch.
Joe Wilson.
DUmmies, can't you see that we're just inventing these conspiracies to distract you from your continued whining about the "stolen" 2000 election??? Don't fall into the trap... ;)
I don't even need to click the link to know that your comment is an understatement.
Why does it matter to them? It's not like they could have done anything different.
So is their complaint the fact that there were "leaks" or that the "leaks" were incorrect?
Senator Murray should tell this person: "If you want that kind of caring treatment and personalized concern from your government, you should live in one of those countries where Osama Bin Laden builds hospitals and day care centers."
That's pretty funny.
There. They happy?
And to think I live in the same state with that wacko.
No, now they are complaining that this nomination distracts from Rove. Some have even wanted to get the Roberts confirmation over and done with so they can get back in the hunt after Rove.
If that's true, Bush should have nominated Bork just to see if they're paying any attention.
White House does a leak on liberals...DU pissed off
What is this person's point? Do we now have a constitutional right to accurate rumors?
I wonder how much they were charged for the domain names
www.stopclement.com and www.opposeclement.com AND they bought any name in support of clement. Their dollar I guess.
And it seems they've purchased the same domain names for Roberts. If I were President Bush I'd just give robertsforjustice a .gov domain and stick it to the left.
The poster of this thread on DU must have been the DUmmy who bought the clement sites.
Sheesh...they are just making it too easy. I can't believe they are so incredulous that they can't win an election. Seems pretty clear to ME what the problem is.
Where does the Constitution say everyone has the "right" to demand to hear everyone else's personal opinions? WT????
Imagine the "rumor" archive we'd have to build! Every time someone in Washington says "I think" or "Maybe", someone would have to type up a document and it would have go by armored truck into the national archives! LOL.
Wow. The left is getting sooo funny! They really are funnier when they're out of power.
Bush has yanked their chain so many times, they freak when the wind blows! It's like shell shock!
LMAO!
"We know that this is a typical bait and switch."
So freeking what if it was, and I agree with that possibility. Why would ANYONE launch an investigation out of a sense of embarassment?
They are OPENLY calling for revenge via investigative harrassment, here. INSANE!
Yeah I've seen the "distraction from Rove" thing, which just shows how dogged and emotional they are in matters of politics. It's ALL personal to them, and they can only see THEIR interests as being on everyone else's minds. That Bush had to nominate someone now to get him out there before the August break doesn't seem to occur to these people because they see nothing but the white-hot center of their hateful vision.
