Boston-based talk host Howie Carr has launched websites spoofing Ted Kennedy and John Kerry. He's also helped inspire T-shirts from a Maine-based company that raises a good point about Gitmo: more people have been killed in Ted's car at Chappaquiddick than at Gitmo.
He's currently working on liveshot.cc , which will feature snapshots, audio, and the voting record of John Kerry. The Swimmer is up for re-election in 2006, and Lurch two years later.
Note that the Kerry site is being worked on but should be just as interesting as the Ted K site.
isn't Carr the guy who has written 'bout "PATCHES" KENNEDY, AKA Patrick Kennedy, congressperson from R>I>?
Yes...the nickname for Ted's son comes from the old Clarence Carter hit from the 70s: "Patches, I'm dependin' on you son/
To pull the family through/My son it's all left up to you"

BTTT
Thanks for the ping!
LOL .. nice shirt
Carr coined the nickname Patches for Patches, as you correctly pointed out, he took it from the old Clarence Carter hit.
I prefer, "More People Died in Pocha Pond Than Guantanamo Bay".
Low Volume Ping-List, unusually good shows and topics will be bird-dogged when the need arises.
Usually once or twice a week at most.
yes HC said that he won a Porsche "in the name of Cathy, er
Submit". He says he wants a Lexus instead. Poor baby, what will these run him on sales tax? (Good news, impoverished person, you just won a $50,000 Caddy on The Price is Right.
Bad news: you gotta pay the tax on it)
