Read the title, and thought, geez, keyword should be TINFOIL.. and I see, it's already there!! ROFL!!!
We have got to de-nutcase Congress.
I just listened to the audio over on LGF, and was thinking about posting it here.
A rat caught lying. Imagine that.
You mean "Red Rider".
Typical rat intellectual -- head firmly planted far up the posterior.
"No I don't. All that matters is that I hate George Bush"
And the crowd burst into applause and cheering.
The irony is, Hinchey is Exhibit A why that theory is false. It is clear from Hinchey that the hard left will believe what they want to believe, facts and logic be damned. And that is what got CBS into trouble in the first place with the bogus TANG memos.
However, it does not mean "would".
Yeah, the Floyd song that comes to mind for this bunch is "Comfortably Numb".
And there is audio...
Wasn't that Red Rider...
Loyal sailors keep bailing after the ship goes down.
Moonbat is right. These guys were always out on the fringe. Now, they are way over the edge and falling fast.
Anyone got a shoehorn?
Yep. It was Red Ryder.
So its very important to lie, huh? Some "issues" are just "so important" you can do anything..I see.....
Well, that says all anyone needs to know about the media and their comrades the liberals.
You have to wonder about the crowd, too, doncha?
The lunatic fringe rising to the top...???
That's what I meant.
This was in Ithaca, so the fringe was the mainstream in that venue.
Liberal loons continue to be delusional...as long as they continue with this type of thinking....we republicans will continue to WIN....we own the senate, house and most governorships...that should tell you something. SORELOSERS
Boy, this guy, Hinchey, appears to be one hamburger short of a Happy Meal! Unbelievable! First lies and then says that's his job! Huh?!!
Good use of the word "comrades."
Thanks for taking the time to post about this anti-freedom liar. Thanks to LGF.
They don't call it Itsthicka NY for nothing.
He wowed them.
He said the war against Iraq was wrong, illegal, a tragedy. He said President Bush had deceived people and was stifling dissent rather than embracing diplomacy. He said that he had explored the prospect of impeachment, but that the time was not right, at least not yet."

Whose watertower proudly proclaims "The Home of the Lunatic Fringe"...
In this case I was referring to my typo for "would."
Thanks for playing :) I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread :)
Bush is driving them off the deep end.
This guy needs to be drawn and quartered.
Our LGF friends should send the audio to a few media types..FOX,Rush,Hannity,Levin,Boortz..
Yeah, there are those little itty-bitty problems that first of all, Bush hasn't done anything wrong, and second, the GOP controls the House. So I can see why the time isn't right.
What a fool.
There are some seriously deranged people in the Rat Party ... and I don't just mean the voters!
The Colonial and early American newspapers printed stories from beyond their own cities by borrowing (without payment) stories from outside newspapers that came in my mail, or by printing letters from outsiders as if they were correspondents. (That's what they were, literally, since the word originally meant people who exchanged letters with one another.
Bottom line: substitute e-mails for letters, and blog sites for newspapers, and what you see LGF doing here is EXACTLY how original newspapers like the Brunswick Gazette (one of my favorites) reported the news in 1787.
If the people at the Columbia J School had a clue about the history of their profession, they would note this parallel, and applaud this development. But they don't, and don't.
UPDATE at 2/20/05 4:48:20 pm:
Courtesy of LGF operative zombie (who is not the operative who recorded Rep. Hincheys rant), here is a full transcript of the recording:
Congressman Maurice Hinchey (D-NY): Well, you know, they are manipulating the media, they did it in the very beginning through intimidation. They would intimidate the people in the, uh, in the press conference. And ... they would ask they would allow questions to be asked only of people that they knew were going to ask the right kind of questions, from their point of view. And, you know, that has its effect, had, had its effect on people. People have been people in the media have been intimidated. The media has changed in the last four years. People have changed in the last four years. Theyve had a very very direct, aggressive attack on the, on the media, and the way its handled. Probably the most flagrant example of that is the way they set up Dan Rather. Now, I mean, I have my own beliefs about how that happened: it originated with Karl Rove, in my belief, in the White House. They set that up with those false papers. Why did they do it? They knew that Bush was a draft dodger. They knew that he had run away from his responsibilties in the Air National Guard in Texas, gone out of the state intentionally for a long period of time. They knew that he had no defense for that period in his life. And so what they did was, expecting that that was going to come up, they accentuated it: they produced papers that made it look even worse. And they and they distributed those out to elements of the media. And it was only what, like was it CBS? Or whatever, whatever which one Rather works for. They the people there they finally bought into it, and they, and they aired it. And when they did, they had em. They didnt care who did it! All they had to do is to get some element of the media to advance that issue. Based upon the false papers that they produced.
Audience Member: Do you have any evidence for that?
Congressman Hinchey: Yes I do. Once they did that
Congressman Hinchey: ...once they did that, then it undermined everything else about Bushs draft dodging. Once they were able to say, This is false! These papers are not accurate, theyre, theyre, theyre false, theyve been falsified. That had the effect of taking the whole issue away.
Audience Member: So you have evidence that the papers came from the Bush administration?
Congressman Hinchey: No. I thats my belief.
Audience Member: OK.
Congressman Hinchey: And I said that. In the very beginning. I said, Its my belief that those papers, and that setup, originated with Karl Rove and the White House.
Audience Member: Dont you think its irresponsible to make charges like that?
Congressman Hinchey: No I dont. I think its very important to make charges like that. I think its very important to combat this kind of activity in every way that you can. And Im willing and most people are not to step forward in situations like this and take risks.
Audience: [Clapping and cheering.]
Congressman Hinchey: I consider that to be part of my job, and Im gonna continue to do it.
So true. 200+ years later the concept of "We" in "We the people..." has now become a reality for those visionary men, some of the greatest minds to ever inhabit planet earth.
And it was only what, like was it CBS? Or whatever, whatever which one Rather works for.
I still don't know why Hinchey gets elected.
He hasn't ever actually DONE anything except whine, gripe, and moan like a PMS'ing Marge Schott with a cold.
I really think the left have lost their minds. Intervention needed immediately.
So that's what this a-hole looks like. Thanks for posting his pic.
What a munchkin jerk.
A man makes charges like this and doesn't even know which network? Besides, Rather has a famous history beyond this latest deal, never mind that New York is the media center of the planet, something no NY politician that craves face time will ever forget. So where's Hinchey been?
I make no secret that I live in Orange County NY, Ben Gilman was my district, Hinchey was one district over.
He's always been a space case.
They've been redistricting the place so badly that off the top of my head I can't tell you which district I am in anymore.
Been hard to keep track of that recently.
I'm hoping he doesn't get re-elected next time around.
