No AM DUFU edition tomorrow but you will have plenty to mull over in this edition until the Friday PM DUFUs. Yes, I know the DUFUs are addictive but I have to take care of some things tomorrow morning like earning a few bucks so I can sit here and do MORE DUFUing. Of course, if I get a book contract for the DUmmie FUnnies I can produce even MORE editions. And speaking of a book contract, if you are a literary agent or book publisher, you can contact me about this at: PJ-Comix.

You can get regular updates on the DUmmie FUnnies editions as they go online simply by asking to be placed on the PING List.

There is a complete control of power here, and we have none of it.

I promised myself that after the New Year I would stop but as long as they continue to weep pools of bitter tears I will continue to splash happily in those pools.

Maybe I will stop after the 20th....

In many Republican locations there were more votes than voters. In many Democratic locations there were fewer votes than voters

They are so bass-ackwards.

Gloom, despair and agony on me.
Deep dark depression, excessive misery.
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
Gloom, despair and agony on me.

Sorry we don't have the smoking cannon we need yet -- but it is out there.

They don't believe Saddam had WMD even though we saw the piles of gassed Kurds and had the intel reports (even some in French!). But they do believe there was voter fraud because... well... because.... because their guy didn't win! ("But he HAD to win!! If he didn't win, it wasn't fair! Why? Because 'fair' is 'when I get what I want!' Because Democracy=My Guy Wins. Always!!"

Sigh. What do you do with people like this? I mean, besides point and laugh.

Maybe the DU bubbas are from the Bizarro Universe, where this statement ISN'T 180 degrees out of sync from reality. Yeesh!

when the vote came in the Senate, only two voted for the resolution

Here is the statement that shows why they think they won the Senate vote was 74-1

I can't stand their vulger name calling. They are getting worse today than usual. Now they want to "b" slap everyone who disagrees with them. I continue to ask "How the heck old are these little people, little whiney, little temper tantrums et al?"

Here is the AP caption:

Victoria Parks of Columbus, Ohio, left, weeps upon hearing about the Democratic challenge of Ohio's 20 electoral votes during the Defend Democracy Rally and Vigil in Washington, Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005. President Bush's re-election triumph over Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., was not in jeopardy, but Democrats turned Congress' quadrennial counting of electoral votes into a battle over Election Day problems in Ohio, forcing the House and Senate to consider a challenge to the presidential count for only the second time since 1877. Before I read any further - is it Robert Mitchum Max Cady laugh, or Robert DeNiro Max Cady laugh?

I have to be in the proper frame of mind for maximum DuFu enjoyment.
