They don't believe Saddam had WMD even though we saw the piles of gassed Kurds and had the intel reports (even some in French!). But they do believe there was voter fraud because... well... because.... because their guy didn't win! ("But he HAD to win!! If he didn't win, it wasn't fair! Why? Because 'fair' is 'when I get what I want!' Because Democracy=My Guy Wins. Always!!"

Sigh. What do you do with people like this? I mean, besides point and laugh.

People like these.... I didn't know I knew so many. I try to be civil, but halfway through the chitchat I see this hatred come over their face and can feel the bitterness just beneath the surface. I had a hard time during the campaign as I found out who was a Kerry supporter. In truth, they fell in my regard, but maintaining the friendship seemed worth it to me. Didn't happen. I count three people whom I thought were friends who are now no longer in my life. Plus my sister. She wouldn't even come to Christmas at my Folks house because I was there. That hurt. BUT, through it all, I never stooped to personal attacks but always made factual arguments. If thats not enough for them , so be it.

The saddest part that these guys being the most vocal makes all liberals look like they are in la-la land. I know it's fun to point and laugh, but the liberals I know were disappointed (some talked about Canada for a day or two), but they realized their guy lost and are over it. Not happy with the results, but they go on with their lives. Just like we would have if Kerry had won.
